Yuu lied on his bed, his phone next to him. He was trying to focus on his thoughts, but that was a failed mission from the get go with how much his phone buzzed. He got a little smirk from his roommate, who seemed to be hanging up some posters.

"Popular, are we?", Mika teased.

"Those are most likely my friends. Probably want to know everything that's happening." Yuu sat up straight, glancing at Mika. "What are you doing?"

"What does it look like I'm doing? Putting up posters." Yuu rolled his eyes.

"Well yeah, I can see that. But why?"

"To make this place feel more like home? I'm not sure." Mika finished up the poster, climbing off of his bed. "We should be exploring campus instead of hogging up in our room."

"... Good point." Yuu stood up from his bed, pulling his shoes back on. Shoving his phone in his pocket, he followed his roommate out the door. "So... What do you like to do for fun?", he asked as the two of them waited on the elevator.

"Oh! I like to read, study, go on walks..." The blond's eyes locked with Yuu's, who seemed quite unimpressed. Mika chuckled. "Yeah, no, I don't really have any hobbies. I'm not really good at anything."

"Don't say that, I'm sure you're good at many things."

"Hm, if you say so. What about you? What do you like to do?" Their elevator arrived, and Mika pushed the button of the first floor.

"Oh, I'm a sporty person. I used to box back in high school, but now I mostly do track."

"So you're here on a sports scholarship?" Yuu nodded.

"What are you studying?"

"I want to be a doctor someday. So I thought this school would be my best bet." The elevator stopped, and the two of them made their way out. Mika pulled a small map out of his pocket.

"Jesus, it's insane that a school of all places needs a map.", Yuu said as he peered over Mika's shoulder. The blond was slightly taller than him. How annoying.

"Well, this place does have 20 floors. Oh, it says right here the first five are only used for classes and extracurricular activities."

"So that's 15 floors of dormitory? Doesn't that seem like an awful lot?" Mika raised his hand to his chin.

"Well, considering the rooms are giant, and there are only two people per room... It might add up? I'm not sure."

"Oh, only the first years have roommates!", a voice called from behind them. Yuu and Mika turned around, seeing a tall boy with purple hair leaning against the wall. "The second and third years all have their personal room, hence the charges go up~"

"T-The price goes up?" Yuu looked over at Mika, who seemed to have a slight smudge of panic on his face.

"Yup! But only for the second year. I assume that won't be a problem for you kids though." The boy waved as he walked away.

"Oh, I never caught your name?", Yuu asked.

"Lacus Welt, third year.", he said as he walked away. Yuu turned his attention back to Mika, who already had his eyes back on the map.

"Whoa, Yuu, this place has a coffee shop. Do you wanna get something to drink?"

"Oh? Are you asking me on a date?"

"Gross." Yuu chuckled, as they attempted to follow the map to the coffee shop. This was feeling like the start of a great friendship.

Even if they got lost multiple times, trying to find that damned café.
