"Fuck!", Mitsuba cursed as she burnt her calf on the still open oven. She quickly closed it, and filled a glass of water to cool down the painful spot. She sucked at cooking, but honestly, so did Shinoa. But today marked their one year anniversary, and the blonde wanted the day to be special. So she was cooking dinner for her dearest girlfriend, who was still at the boys their house for the time being. Mitsu groaned, slamming her head on the table. She felt some tears of frustration and pain bubble in her eyes. She heard the front door open, and footsteps walk into the kitchen. They halted.

"Mitsu?", Shinoa asked. The blonde just replied in a long, exasperated groan. The other giggled, walking closer to place a soft kiss on Mitsuba's head. "There there. What happened?"

"I burnt my leg whilst making dinner.", she muttered. Shinoa laughed.

"Your fault for making dinner in the first place."

"But today's special.", Mitsuba said as she lifted her head to look at her lover.

"Isn't everyday special, when we're together?" The blonde nodded, as the lavender haired walked closer. She sat down on her lap, wrapping her arms around her. "Happy anniversary, Mitsu."

"Happy anniversary, Shino." She planted a soft kiss on the other's lips. "How was it at the boys their place?"

"Interesting. I think Yuu is gonna come out of the closet soon, he keeps talking about his roommate and how they shared a 'moment' together.", Shinoa chuckled.

"Oh please, that boy won't realise he's gay if you'd plant a neon sign in front of him saying he's gay."

"Yeah. But enough of Yuu and the boys. Today's about us." Shinoa placed another soft kiss on Mitsuba's forehead. "So, I took the liberty to book us an evening out."

"Oh, god. That's never a good sign with you. Where are we going?"

"The strip club!"

"You've got to be kidding.", Mitsu said as she pinched the bridge of her nose. "Out of all fancy restaurants and movie theatres, a strip club?"

"I'm not kidding! So let's eat, I wanna go!"

"My sweet Mika~", Ferid's voice chimed through the locker room. The blonde looked up at him. "Nanase called in sick, so you'll be taking the bar shift today." He nodded.

"Alright. Anything specific for tonight?", Mika asked as he pushed his sweater into his locker.

"Isn't it that happy hour thing today? And hey, by the way.", Crowley said as he walked in the locker room.

"No, no, don't worry. That's tomorrow, so I'll have Nanase to take care of that. You remember how to make everything, Mika?" He nodded. "Alright, then I think we're good to open for tonight. I'll do desk, Crowley has pole and Mika has bar. Good luck, break a leg out there~", Ferid chimed as he left the dressing room.

"Jeez, I hope I remember how to make every cocktail.", Mika said. Crowley shrugged, walking over to his own locker next to the blonde's. Mika changed into a simple dress shirt and tie. No point going all out with looks if you're stuck at a bar in the dark the entire night. He rummaged through his locker a little, seemingly annoyed as he was unable to find what he was looking for.

"Looking for something?", Crowley asked as he changed.

"Yeah, I can't find my hair ties. Not in the mood for a sweaty neck the entire shift."

"Here, take one of mine.", the older said as he passed one of his bands to the youngest.

"Thanks." Mika tied his hair back, and checked his phone. He didn't have that many notifications, just some spam e-mails and a text. It was from Yuu. He'd asked if he was free, and wanted to hang out. Apparently his roommates and friends were all out, and he was mega bored. But, Mika had to work, so he replied saying that and they could hang out tomorrow if he wanted.
