Mika gave his shirt a quick pat down, as he glanced in the mirror of the small hospital bathroom. He sighed. He looked a lot better than when he came in two days ago. Then again, he'd eaten some food and drank something other than energy drinks. He figured he could go home to his apartment now, and perhaps spend some time on his study work. But boy, was he wrong. Instead of getting Lacus to drive him home, considering he wasn't allowed to for another 48 gours, it was Yuu that was waiting for him in the hospital room. And he was taking him to his home, to meet his friends and finally have 'some good fucking food', in the ravenette's words.

Mika opened the door of the bathroom, walking back into the small main area. Yuu looked up from his phone, and smiled.

"Do I look presentable?", the blonde asked.

"Yeah. You look healthy." Yuu shoved his phone in his pocket, and handed Mika his. "Ready to go?" He nodded. "Perfect. Let's go." The two boys grabbed their coats, and left the hospital room.

After the long wait in line, annoying paperwork and needing to promise to do better, Mika was finally checked out from the hospital. They made their way to the parking garage, when Yuu stopped to dig his phone out of his pocket. Mika raised an eyebrow.

"Everything okay?"

"Yeah, I just need to quickly see where I parked my car. I took a picture of the area number." The blonde choked back some laughter.

"You can't remember whether you parked at 1A or 3B?"

"Hey!", he shouted. "I have other things on my mind right now!", Yuu said as he picked up his walking again. Mika followed suit.

"Oh yeah? Like what?"

"You."

"M-Me?", he stuttered. The dumb blush was back, especially when the other looked back at him.

"Duh. You've been in the hospital the past two days, I don't like being alone. I was worried for you."

"Right. Hospital." Yuu halted his walk at a small black car. Opel.

"What else?" He unlocked the car, opening the door for Mika. The blonde sat down. "Or were you hoping I had you on my mind for different reasons~?", he teased. He rested his arms on the roof of the car, and the top of the open door. He bowed down to meet Mika's level.

"Shut up. Me being on your mind for 'other reasons' is the last thing I'd want.", he glared.

"Hah? The last thing you'd want?"

"You're offended again."

"AM NOT!" Mika chuckled as Yuu cleared his throat. "I'm not offended. Why would I be?"

"Because you always get annoyed when I mention you're not my type, or that I'm not interested in you romantically." The ravenette frowned.

"That's not true.", he said as he finally walked over to the driver's seat of the car, and got in. They shut the doors, and buckled up.

"Yes it is. See, you're annoyed now, Yuu-chan." Yuu started the car.

"I'm not denying that I'm annoyed. I'm saying that you're lying about not wanting me.", he replied as he glanced at Mika. If looks could kill, Yuu'd been long dead, together with the stupid smirk he had plastered on his face.

"In your dreams."

"That's true." Yuu pulled out of the small parking spot, and began the slow drive for the exit of the parking garage.

"Hm? Dreaming of me wanting you?"

"You know it baby." They chuckled. As Yuu grew more focused on the driving task at hand, Mika spaced out more and more. It wasn't a secret he enjoyed the playful flirting his crush was prone to, but it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say it hurt. It sent him so many mixed signals. Was it really just playful flirting, or could Yuu potentially be interested him? Who knew at this point. For however many times Yuu said he was straight, he called Mika 'baby' or 'hun'. He sighed, shifting his glance over at the boy. He was vibing in his seat, quietly singing along with the Disney music he played over the AUX cord.

"Enjoying yourself?", the blonde asked.

"Yeah!", Yuu laughed.

"What song is this? I don't recognise it."

"WHAT?! It's a banger! It's from Starstruck, have you seen the movie?"

"I haven't, no. Not the biggest Disney guy."

"How are we friends?", Yuu teased him. "Admit, it's a good song."

"It's pretty nice."

"Yea- Oh it's the bridge!" He took a deep breath. "NOW THAT YOU'RE HEEEERE! IT'S SUDDENLY CLEAAAR! SUN'S COMING THROUGH! I NEVER KNEW, WHATEVER I DO, IT'S BETTER WITH YOUUU!" Mika chuckled as Yuu continued to sing his heart out with the lyrics. It was an adorable sight.

"I can't believe you have Big Time Rush in your playlist.", Mika said as Yuu pulled into his driveway.

"How could I not? Icons." The blonde chuckled. "It was nice to get you singing along eventually."

"You played Boyfriend, ofcourse I sang along." Yuu laughed. He turned off the music, and took a glance at the boy in the passenger's seat. The mood quickly shifted.

"Mika, I..." He rested his hand on his. "If you don't feel ready to meet my friends, that's okay. I don't want to rush you."

"Now you're sounding like a boyfriend.", Mika scoffed. "It's fine, Yuu-chan. I've already met Shinoa and Mitsuba, it's only fair I meet your other friends aswell." He smiled, looking at the hand which was rested on top of his. He felt Yuu's soft touch turn to a gentle grip.

"I really do love you, Mika. You're on my mind a lot, especially with everything that happened the past few days. I just want to keep you safe."

"Stop it, you're gonna make me cry.", he chuckled. "Where is this all coming from?"

"Honestly, no idea.", Yuu laughed as he wiped a tear that had escaped. "I felt the need to share it. You're going through a lot, I wanna be there for you. You're one of my best friends."

Friends. One of his best friends. Being fully honest with himself, Mika found the term to sting like a bitch. Then again, it wasn't a surprise. It only confirmed that Yuu saw him as a friend, nothing more. It wasn't surprising, yet still... It didn't feel right to the blonde. He didn't want to call Yuu his friend. He wanted more than that. He wanted to be able to wake up next to the boy, and share his admiration with a sweet kiss. He wanted to go out with him, on stupid dates to the movie theatre of a coffee shop. He wanted to explore every part of Yuu, turning his own name into nothing more than a moan of pleasure. But he couldn't.

All he could do, was look at him.

"Yuu-chan, I should...", he muttered. "I should tell you something."

"Is this the part where you tell me you're in love with me?", he smirked. Mika groaned.

"Not a chance. Let's go inside."

"Fine, fine." The two of them got out of the car, and made their way to the front door. "Ah, Shinoa and Mitsu are here.", Yuu said as he glenced over to the white Mercedes. He dug his keys out of his pocket. He opened the door, and the two of them walked inside. It was quiet.

"Shouldn't there be like, four people here? Why is it so quiet?", Mika whispered.

"I think they're outside.", the ravenette replied. He guided Mika to the kitchen table, where they rested their backpacks at the feet of said table. Yuu looked outside, seeing some glasses resting on the table. "Yeah, they are." He grabbed hold of Mika's hand, and began walking to the glass sliding door. They stepped outside, greeted by the sight of people laying down in the grass. Shinoa opened one of her eyes, smirking.

"Visitors~!", she chimed.

"What in the actual fuck are you guys doing?", Yuu said.

"Vibing!" The lavender haired girl stood up, and dusted off her skirt. The others slowly started getting up as well. "Mika! Good to see you here!"

"H-Hey..." He was approached by a small brunette.

"Hi! I'm Yoichi, it's so nice to finally meet you!" The boy held out his hand. Mika shook it. So this was the boy that knew about his eating habits.

"Mika. Nice to meet you too."

"Don't be nervous, Mika.", Yuu said as he wrapped his arm around the blonde's shoulder. "They're good guys. Put as much trust in them as you put in me!"
