Yuu's hand trembled as he held the key card. Ever since the... events, of yesterday, Mika and him hadn't spoken to eachother. They definitely had to at some point, and Yuu wanted nothing more than to rip off the bandaid and initiate the conversation. But as he stood in front of their door, he could barely bring himself to swipe the card. He was terrified. Terrified of Mika getting angry with him for what he did.

And honestly, he couldn't blame him. What he did was incredibly selfish. Yuu himself felt like he just used the poor guy, when the blonde deserved so much better. So much better than anything he could give him. With a gulp, Yuu swiped his key card, unlocking the door. He walked inside, seeing Mika on his laptop at his desk, his headphones plugged in. He was wearing Yuu's hoodie.

So it was safe to assume he wasn't angry with him. Yuu entered the room further, and quietly placed his backpack on his bed. On one hand he hoped Mika would just notice him and initiate conversation, while on the other he hoped he wouldn't. Either luckily, or not, Mika noticed him. The blonde stood up from his desk, and faced Yuu. He fiddled with the wristcuff of the hoodie, as he walked a little closer.

"Hey...", he said.

"Hi..." Yuu's eyes met Mika's for a moment, but quickly broke contact again. It was only then he noticed the bright purple mark on the blonde's neck. "S-Sorry about that, Mika.", he said, pointing at the hickey. Mika shook his head.

"It's fine, Yuu-chan. But... Can we talk about what happened?"

"We really should, huh?", the ravenette chuckled. He sat down on his bed, waiting for Mika to sit down next to him. Eventually, he did.

"I-", they started at the same time. After a shared awkward chuckle, Mika took the word again.

"You go first."

"Yeah?" He nodded. "Alright, uhm... I wanted to apologise." Yuu aimed his gaze at the floor. "I only really realised this morning, but kissing you last night really was incredibly selfish. I don't want things to get weird between us."

"Again, it's fine."

"It's... really not. I took advantage of you."

"You didn't, Yu-"

"I did, Mika. I did." He sighed. "Again, I don't want things getting weird between us. I don't know what came into me when I decided kissing you was a good idea. But don't worry, I can assure you it meant nothing." Yuu smiled, redirecting his eyes back to Mika. He expected to be met with an expression of relief and contentment.

Instead, he was met with sadness and sorrow. Yuu felt his heart shatter when he looked into Mika's teary eyes. He messed up. He messed up big time.

"Mika...?"

"T-That's, uhm-" The blonde snapped back to reality, letting out an awkward, pained laugh as he desperately tried to stop the tears from flowing. He couldn't. "I-I'm sorry, Yuu-chan, I need- I need a moment.", he said as he stood up, walking over to the window. As he took a deep breath, a sob escaped.

Yuu couldn't do anything, except look at his friend with worry. What happened? What caused Mika to get so upset? Was it really the wrong option to tell him this?

"Mika...", he whispered, walking closer to the boy as he leaned onto the windowsill. Yuu rested his hand on his back. "Talk to me. Please."

He sobbed again. As the ravenette wanted to wrap his arms around him in a tight hug, he found himself physically pushed away by the other. He turned to him, face red from the choked back cries.

"I'm gonna take a walk.", he said as he started making his way to the door.

"Mika!" Yuu grabbed his hand. "Don't go... Please... Tell me what's wrong..."

The blonde sighed. He gently pulled himself away from Yuu's grasp, turning around to face him. He shrugged in defeat. Taking another deep inhale, he spoke.

"What do you want me to say? Hey, Yuu-chan, I really enjoyed kissing you because I've fallen madly in love with you in the past few weeks? Kind of dumb, don't you think?"

Yuu was dumbfounded. Not only had he hurt Mika's feelings and taken advantage of him because of his sexuality... He'd also abused his crush on him. The ravenette felt the world around him start to crumble into pieces as the floor beneath him vanished. Mika was in love with him.

Mika was in love with him, while he just told him their kiss meant absolutely nothing to him. Yuu felt his own breathing grow heavier as guilt, sorrow and regret seeped through his veins.

'Say something, stupid!', he thought.

"You're in love with me...?" Mika scoffed.

"That's all you can say?" He sighed. "I'm gonna take a walk." As he turned around to leave, the ravenette found himself physically blocking the door. "Let me through."

"Not until we clear this out!", he yelled.

"What's there to clear out anymore, Yuu-chan?!", Mika yelled back. "I like you, you don't like me! That's it! That's where the story ends!"

"What do you mean, that's where the story ends?!"

"I mean that's where it ends! I can't-" He sobbed. "I can't do this! Please, just let me through..." Yuu shook his head, trying his hardest to hold back any sobs of his own.

"I can't lose you, Mika... If you go now, I don't know if you'll come back!" He opened his eyes, glancing up at the agitated blonde in front of him. Mika took a deep breath, before speaking again.

"Let me through, Yuichiro."

... What? Did Mika just call him by his full name? No Yuu-chan? No Yuu? Just... Yuichiro... It sent shivers down his spine. Yuu trembled, as he stepped to the side, letting the blonde through. He'd shut the door behind him with a loud bang.

Yuu slid his back against the door, landing on the floor. He pulled his knees to his chest, sobbing. This was it. This was the end.

The end of him and Mika.
