Yuichiro yawned, as his eyes slowly fluttered open. As they started adjusting to the small rays of sun peering through the curtains, his gaze fell onto the face of the blonde laying in his arms. But while he was expected to be met with a sleeping beauty, he was instead met with a pair of awake, blue eyes, staring right back at him.

"Goodmorning, Yuu-chan.", Mika whispered.

"Goodmorning, babe..." Yuu yawned again. "Did you sleep well?"

The blonde chuckled, wriggling himself closer to Yuu. "Want me to answer that honestly?"

"I take that as a no?"

"I've been worrying the entire night..."

"Worrying? What happened, Mika?"

"We need to talk about yesterday. I feel like you're pretending it didn't happen, and what happened wasn't okay." Yuu lifted his arm from around Mika's shoulder, sitting up straight against the bed's headboard.

"Can't this wait...?"

"It waited long enough. Yuu-chan, what happened, and what could have been bad enough you ended up fighting a drunk man?"

Yuu sighed, resting his face in his hands. "I... He..."

"I can also just go ask your uncle."

"No! It's fine, I-!"

"Then just tell me, Yuu-chan...", Mika said as he rested his hand on Yuu's. "You know you can tell me anything."

"I know... It's just, the guy was fucking drunk, and he..." Yuichiro looked up, green eyes meeting blue once more. Mika smiled at him, showering him in that familiar feeling of love and trust. It made what he said next hurt even more. "The guy was wasted, and overheard me on the phone with you."

No going back now, Yuichiro.

"This happened when I called you?"

"Yeah. He started spewing some slurs, threatening to kick mine and your ass, and something just... snapped."

"Yuu-chan..." Mika caressed the ravenette's cheek with the back of his hand, shuffling a little closer. "I get that it upset you a lot... But you just have to ignore stuff like that. It happens a lot."

"... It happened to you before...?"

"Yeah. That's just the harsh reality of the world. And if that's not something you want to deal with, I... I understand."

"No, no no no no. Where did you get that idea? Hey, look at me.", Yuu responded, cupping Mika's cheeks with his hand. "Read my lips: I love you. And some dumb homophobe or people looking at us weirdly in the street isn't gonna change that. Let them stare, I don't care. After all, I have a hot ass boyfriend, I'd stare too."

Mika chuckled, eyes staring down at the bedsheets in front of them. "If that's the case, they're looking at you, not me."

"We're gonna play it like that, huh? C'mere you!"

Mika shrieked as he was tackled by Yuu. "Yuu-chan!", he protested.

"Oh, sounds like last night!"

"Oh shut up!'

"You need a hand?", Guren asked as he watched Yuu struggle unloading his baggage from the trunk of the car.

"I'd like that."

Guren snickered. "Sucks to be you, I guess."

"Wh-?!" Yuichiro groaned. "What did I ever do to you?!"
