Yoichi's attention was turned to Kimizuki, when the latter walked into the livingroom.

"How did it go?", the brunette asked. The other just groaned in response, sitting down on the couch. He rubbed his face in frustration.

"I thought I had finally gotten through to him when he said he loved Mika, but not even a minute later he was insisting it was purely platonic."

"You've got to be kidding me."

"Wish I was. I'd punch him in the face if I could, Jesus fuck."

"Yeah, let's not do that.", Yoichi chuckled. "It'll get through to him somehow. Eventually. I hope."

"Can you two stop talking about me all the time? It's like I live in your heads rent free." The two looked up at the origin of the voice, seeing Yuu standing at the bottom of the stairs. He was wearing the hoodie he had given Mika.

"I'm sorry, Yuu.", Yoichi said.

"It's fine.", he smiled. "You're just looking out for me, I get that. But give me some space to think on my own. I have Guren as my uncle, I need all the freedom I can get." He sat down next to Yoichi.

"You still haven't answered my question, dumbass.", Kimizuki said. The ravenette shot him a confused glance. "What's your view on the situation?"

"Oh! Well, a bit of a weird one to answer.", he smiled. "I saw that Mika was cold last night, so I just went to grab him a hoodie. He might not be fully recovered yet, so I don't want him to feel unwell about anything."

"And that's it? Nothing about you acting weird? Getting angry a lot?"

"I don't get angry that often."

"You do, Yuu.", Yoichi said as he glanced at the boy next to him. "It's scary."

"Look at me, Yuu.", Kimizuki said. "Be honest. How do you feel about Mikaela?" Yuu blinked.

"Mika's a great friend-" He was met with a finger flick to his forehead.

"Wrong answer! For someone that preaches about honesty all the time, you're lying a lot." Yuu sighed.

"Mika's... Weird. He makes me feel weird. I don't know what it is. It isn't comparable to what I've felt for girls before, so I know I'm definitely not in love with him. Yet still, I can't help but feel like everything would be so different if he-"

"Was a girl?"

"... Yeah." Yuu sighed, resting his head in his hands. "Fuck, this can't be happening..."

"Are you starting to realise now?", Kimizuki asked. Yoichi rubbed Yuu's back.

"I would be madly in love with him if he was a girl."

"Then what difference does him being a boy make?", the brunette next to him asked. "Aside from, you know, physical features."

"I- I don't know, I..." Yuu looked back up. He looked about ready for his next cry session. "Am I really in love with Mika...? But if I was gay, wouldn't I have found out sooner? I've had so many girlfriends..."

"Two. You've had two girlfriends, both turning out to be lesbians and ending up dating eachother. But that's besides the point. You realise you could just be bi, right? Idiot."

"Cut him some slack, Kimizuki.", Yoichi scolded him. "Yuu, this will be hard, but I think you need to talk to Mika about this."

"What?! What would you want me to say? Hey dude, I might be bisexual and potentially have a massive crush on you, but I'm not sure?! That sounds so stupid!" He paused. "If I say that, and end up not feeling that way at all... I could never forgive myself for leading him on like that."

"He'll understand. I'm sure of it."

Mika's eyes slowly fluttered open, as he was woken up by the morning sun peering through his curtains. He groaned, stretching. He thought back to the night before, at Yuu's house. After he had given him his hoodie, the ravenette wouldn't leave his side. It was like he was demanding Mika's full attention. Even when he was about to leave with the girls, the other was being so... Clingy? He wasn't sure if that was the right word, but it did the job of describing the situation. He yawned. Eventually, he got up out of bed, and made his way over to his small kitchen/dining/livingroom. He loaded up the coffeemaker and as he stood to wait, went to unplug his phone from the charger. To his surprise, it had exploded with messages.

As he looked further into it, the cause of the spam was clear. He was added in two new groupchats. Mika raised a curious brow, first checking out the group with the most messages.

Yuu: please dont torture the poor soul with a group chat with us in it

Shinoa: TOO LATE. MIKA IS ONE OF US NOW

Oh god. Shinoa had created a groupchat with everyone in it, including him. That was bound to blow up his phone. How annoying. Eventually, he proceeded to check the other group chat which was made. He groaned at the name. At the top of his phone screen, 'The Homosexual Agenda' was displayed.

Mitsuba: Shino i love you but what the fuck is that name

Shinoa: it's art

A groupchat with just the three of them. Probably to hear Mika out over whatever he was thinking involving his raven haired friend. His phone buzzed again.

Shinoa: HE'S AWAKE

Mika groaned, as his phone started a regular buzzing. The group was being video called. After a moment of ponder, Mika accepted the video call. He was immediately greeted by Shinoa on the other side, Mitsuba at her side. They seemed to still be eating breakfast.

"Ooh, there he is! Good morning Mika!", the lavender haired girl chimed.

"Morning.", he replied in an annoyed tone. He rested his phone against the faucet of his small kitchen, as he grabbed a cup from the cupboard. He filled it up with coffee. "Why on earth are you calling me?", he asked them.

"We thought you could use some company!"

"You know that if I want company, I could just go downstairs?"

"If you didn't want us bugging you, you could have also just not have answered the phone.", Mitsuba said as she took a bite of her sandwich.

"That's fair."

"I assume you slept well? You passed out in the car yesterday.", Shinoa said.

"I did?"

"Yeah, you did. We tried talking to you multiple times but you were out like a brick. I felt bad about waking you, but we had to get you in your apartment.", Mitsuba chuckled. "So what did you dream of?" Mika raised an eyebrow.

"Nothing? I rarely dream."

"Seriously? Is that true or do you just wanna get us off your back?"

"It's true. I can't really remember the last time I had a dream." That, was a lie. The blonde boy frowned, thinking back to the last dream he had. He had fallen asleep in the woods, and dreamt of the moment he was forced to come out to his parents.

"Weird...", Shinoa said. "But! There's an underlying reason we called you."

"Here we go."

"We need you to talk with Yuu." Mika paused for a moment, contemplating. What on earth where they gonna ask of him?

"Why?", he asked as he took a sip of his coffee.

"I got a text from Yoichi, saying he felt down and stressed. Seeing as you'll be seeing him again this afternoon, maybe you could figure out what was up?"

"Yeah, ofcourse."

Mika rested his empty cup in the sink, sincerely hoping he wasn't somehow the cause of Yuu's stress.
