Hey everyone, apologies for the hiatus, I had some personal issues that took priority for a while, but things should be going back to normal now. I hope you are all well

"So Willow, how did it happen?" Madison asked, her and Willow had started to hang out a little more after the night at the bar, and so far it's been good. "How did what happen?" Willow replied.
"When did you ask Cordy out?"
"I actually haven't..."
"Oh, I mean after last night with that stupid spider it just seemed like it-"
"We are more than friends, it's just nothing is official yet"
"I see." Madison nodded as they continued their walk downstairs.
"Are you going to ask her?"
"Maybe, I want to I just havent had the right moment to do so"
"Morning ladies" Cordelia smiled up at the two witches, and moved around the kitchen island to give Willow a cup of coffee she just brewed and a soft kiss on her cheek. "Morning sweetheart" Willow whispered, then moved to sit down next to Zoe and Nan. "So Cordelia, found any more spiders in the cabinet?" Nan teased.
"In my defence, it was a big spider" Cordelia replied, sipping some of her tea. The group laughed as Willow held her hand up to show them a more accurate example of the size of the spider, "Dee, it was tiny" She laughed. Cordelia sighed in defeat and joined the others in laughter.
After breakfast some of the girls went to teach some lessons to the younger half of the academy, while the others had some time off to do what they pleased. Cordelia and Willow decided to go repot some plants in the greenhouse.
"You have dirt on your forehead" Cordelia laughed, making her way over to where Willow had been stationed for the last half an hour, she was surrounded in small plants that had just about overgrown their nursery pots and were ready to be moved into bigger ones.
Willow wiped the back of her hand on her forehead, trying to get the splatter of mud off, however when it didn't move Cordelia did the job herself and got it off with the pad of her thumb, and wiped it on the table beside them, not that it mattered much considering it was already covered in dirt. "I don't know how you manage to make such a mess" Cordelia teased, shaking her head.
"Well Delia, plants and dirt tend to come as a pair"
"Still, you really do just love to make a mess" Cordelia laughed.
She walked away from Willow and turned on a playlist of some music on spotify. "Since when do we listen to music in the greenhouse?" Willow questioned. Cordelia ignored her question momentarily and grabbed her hand, pulling her up out of her corner and into the main bit of space that was in there. "Dance with me" Cordelia's hands grazed Willow's neck as she placed her hands around it softly, Willow moved her hands to Cordelia's waist almost subconsciously.
The pair swayed gently with the music, foreheads resting together, the world melting away into the background, they danced through a couple songs, mostly in a comfortable silence.
"Cordelia, I wanted to ask you something" Willow whispered, moving her head back slightly to make eye contact, Cordelia signaled for her to continue, still swaying in time to the music, and gently massaging Willow's neck with her fingers.
"Umm Dee, oh wow this is harder than I thought. Ok, I wanted to do this in a better way but right now just seems a good moment and i'm sorry if I'm about to ruin the moment but-"
"Willow sweetheart, calm down and tell me what you want to say."
"Cordelia, ever since I found out what I am I was so lost, I thought my life would never be the same, I thought that I would never have a family again, but then I came here and you immediately showed me kindness and that what I am doesn't change who I am. You changed my life Cordelia, and I am forever thankful for it. I know we have been doing, well this, for awhile now, but my feelings for you are too strong for me to hide it anymore. So Cordelia, will you be my girlfriend?"
Willow looked back up at Cordelia after speaking basically to the ground, afraid of the eye contact. Her eyes were greeted with Cordelia staring straight back at her, her eye glossy and a wide smile spread across her face. She moved her hands to Willow's cheeks and pulled her close, joining their lips for a passionate kiss, revealing all the feelings that had been submerged, revealing all the longing for their relationship for something to be more than 'more than friends', revealing everything.
"Of course I will darling, of course" Cordelia said when they finally separated, their foreheads returning to their previous position against each other. The pair slowly began to sway along to the music in the background again, both secretly savouring the moment, hoping time would stand still just for a moment, just long enough to make it last forever in their minds.
"So you found the right time then?" Maddison smiled, her and Zoe emerging from a large plant placed next to the door. "Maddison how long have you been there?" Willow jumped away from Cordelia, the same way one might if they touched fire. Cordelia turned around and glared at the pair of young witches.
"Really Cordy, you'd think you would have learned your little mom stares don't work on me" Maddison laughed and walked towards Willow, hugging her in congratulations. "Took you long enough" Zoe smiled at Cordelia, silently showing her approval of the relationship.
"I really need to get a new lock on that damn door." Cordelia sighed, a smile tugging at her lips as she looked over at her friends and girlfriend.
