Chapter Nine

"Cordelia?" Willow said as she entered her room, she knew Cordelia wouldn't answer her so she just decided to walk in. As she looked over to Cordelia she could see her curled up on her bed, her eyes red and puffy and tears stained her cheeks, Cordelia turned her head quickly when she heard Willows voice, she stood up and looked at her, as if to ask her why she was here after all she said. "Oh darling" Willow whispered as she pulled Cordelia into a hug, clinging to her tighter than she ever had before. "I know, I know everything" Willow whispered as she buried her nose in Cordelia's soft blonde hair, taking in the sweet smell of Vanilla that cloaked over her body. She kissed Cordelia's head and made a silent promise to herself, she would always protect Cordelia, she would take care of her and treat her like she deserved and made sure she would always be happy. "I am so sorry Cordelia, I should have let you explain," Willow sighed as she cupped Cordelia's cheeks, "Its ok, I'm sorry for not telling you" She replied.

They stayed in this position for some time, just holding each other and appreciating that they are back together again. "Cordelia?" Willow whispered as she broke their hug, Cordelia frowned slightly at the loss of contact but smiled up still at Willow, "there is one thing I wanted to do" Willow trailed on, looking towards Cordelia's lips. Catching onto what Willow was going to ask, she leant forward pressing her soft lips against Willow's. They didn't do anything more, not yet. They just wanted to be in the moment and enjoy each other's company.

The pair separated and neither could stop smiling, they had finally got who they wanted, they had finally done what they needed to do to make them happy. They sat down on Cordelia's bed and chatted for a while about what they wanted from each other, it was decided they were going to just see how it goes, not label anything for now and just be with each other. "Hey Cordelia, dinners ready" Zoe said as she knocked on the door then walked in, smiling slightly when she saw the pair holding hands and looking back up at her. "So, I see that you two have made up" She smirked, Cordelia thanked her for telling her about dinner and then Zoe left. "Well I suppose we should go down then" Cordelia said getting up off the bed and began to walk towards the door. "Wait" Willow exclaimed as she stood up and pulled Cordelia's hand, bringing her backwards Willow turned Cordelia around and pulled her close in one quick movement as she kissed her harshly yet gently once more, Cordelia giggled and rolled her eyes "I am never going to get tired of hearing your laugh" Willow smiled, pushing a piece of hair out of the older witches face. "Stop being such a flirt, we need to go downstairs" Cordelia teased. Eventually they did go downstairs and were greeted by many angry faces from Madison, Nan, Myrtle and a few others that joined them for dinner. Zoe was smiling though, she knew their new romance would cause them to be late. The pair looked at each other and laughed a bit, before going to sit down and enjoy their meals.

"So why were you two so late to dinner?" Zoe asked, clearly teasing them, Cordelia's cheeks flushed over in a shade of crimson, and Willow laughed awkwardly, "Cordelia was just helping me with a spell" Willow said. It was clear to them all that it wasn't true but they didn't interject, well all expect Zoe, who clearly found humor in teasing the pair. "Oh really? What spell was that, I might be able to give some tips" Zoe pushed on, "Oh just a little enchantment bottle" Cordelia stated and continued eating her dinner. The rest of the meal everyone was just speaking of general things like school and friends outside the coven. "Cordelia I wondered if me and the rest of the girls could have the day off tomorrow, we wanted to go to this lake since its going to be cold and hopefully it will ice over so we can go skating," Madison asked looking up towards Cordelia. She thought for a moment or two on whether or not they all deserve to go out and have some fun, but since they were all ahead in their classes she agreed to it. They all thanked her and everyone eventually went to their rooms, leaving the servants to clean up.

"Hey Maddison can I come tomorrow?" Willow asked, catching up to the blonde witch. "If you want, but if you do then bring some ice skates" Maddison shrugged and continued walking to her room. Willow decided to go to her room as Cordelia was in her office doing work and she didn't want to disturb her. Willow walked through her room and sat down onto her bed, just as she was about to start reading a book there was a knock at the door, Willow smiled and told whoever it was to come in, only to find it was Zoe. "Hey Willow, what are you up too?" She walked into her room and sat by Willow, "Just reading" Willow spoke, "So Cordelia huh?" Zoe teased, nudging herself against Willow. "Yeh" She smiled thinking about her new romance with the older witch.
