"Willow, Willow!" Zoe yelled, shaking Willow's shoulders, she hadn't seen her in the first lesson they had and thought she might be ill or with Cordelia, but turned out she's just asleep. "Oh god, whats the time Zoe?" Willow asked, sitting up and yawning, "10:30, you missed first lesson.." Zoe stated sitting on the bed, "And no offence, but you look like shit". Willow stood up and made her way over to her mirror, her eyes were still visibly puffy, and her face was patchy from crying most of the night. "Yeah, I was a bit upset last night, my face gets like that" Willow fake laughed as she turned around to Zoe. Eventually Zoe left to let Willow change into some jeans and an over sized hoodie, she came downstairs soon after to find Cordelia busy teaching the lesson she was supposed to be in. "Ah Willow, nice of you to finally join us" Cordelia spoke as the young witch entered the room, by the looks of things they were just learning about different types of Herbs which Willow knew anyway, since she was so fond of Herbs after her afternoon with Cordelia a week or so back, so she knew she didn't have to worry on missing out on much. "Sorry I'm late, I overslept" Willow smiled back at Cordelia, trying to get her to look somewhat happy to see her, however she just nodded blankly and went back to teaching the class.

Most of the time spent in the school day was just Willow staring at Cordelia, running through reasons why the witch may not want to be her friend anymore. At first she thought she may have just decided that Willow was too young and childish to hang around with, but then Willow reminded herself of how playful Cordelia was, and how she was always trying to get Willow to dance along to songs when something they both knew came on the radio. Her next idea was that Cordelia was nice like that to all of the older girls, maybe Cordelia just wanted her to feel welcome and since she clearly wasn't making many friends she just wanted Willow not to be left out. Thoughts like this ran through the poor girls head until she almost made herself cry in spell work, which was also being taught by Cordelia. "Sorry Cordelia, could I be excused for a moment" Willow called out, Cordelia looked quickly at Willow and just nodded plainly again. Willow then speed walked out of the room and ran to the bathroom, quickly shutting the door behind her. She walked over to the sink and turned on the cold tap, slapping some icy water on her teary eyes and red face.

While trying to calm herself down and look a little more presentable so she could go back to lesson, a few soft knocks rang through the door. "Willow? It's me" a calm voice called through to her, she immediately unlocked the door and saw Cordelia standing right in front of her. "Cordelia, hey" Willow blushed at the gesture, it was nice of Cordelia to come take time out of the lesson to make sure she was ok, "I just thought I'd tell you when you are ok to come out again we'll be in the greenhouse so I can do a presentation"

Never mind.

"Hey after lessons do you want to hang out? I can help you organize some herbs or something" Willow asked shyly, gently grabbing Cordelia's arm to stop her from leaving. "I don't know Willow, I think I have some paperwork to do'' She replied, slipping out of Willow's arm. Willow sighed and smiled, looking up at the older witch, she nodded and made their way back into the greenhouse.

The rest of the day Willow just stayed quiet in her classes, she finished her studies about three in the afternoon and so went into her room to read for a while and then had to go downstairs for dinner, she had just some chicken soup and bread and butter since she wasn't too hungry and had a headache so really Willow just wanted to sleep.

"Hey Willow," Zoe said walking into her room, Willow had excused herself and went upstairs about an hour ago. "Hey" Willow replied, not really bothering to listen. The only person she really wanted to see right now was Cordelia, she wanted to ask her why she was suddenly ignoring her and being so distant. She wanted to ask her if she knew how much Willow cared about her, about how many nights she had wanted to go into Cordelia's room and cuddle with her and fall asleep in her arms, not in a romantic way (Though now she had understood she did in fact have a crush on Cordelia, which added to the reasons why she was so upset about Cordelia ignoring her), she just wanted to ask Cordelia how she was so strong after everything she had been through, how she was so trusting and patient with the girls she looked after in the academy and coven, she just wanted to tell Cordelia how much she really did miss her.

Zoe and Willow spent awhile talking about how Willow thought the classes were, or how Cordelia was distant with her. "So, when did this start?" Zoe asked, the pair of girls sitting cross legged on Willows bed, "About two days ago, after we went to get that takeaway she suddenly stopped talking to me, maybe I said something she didn't like and it upset her. Oh my god what if I really upset her" Willow panicked grabbing Zoe's arms and shaking them, "Ok Willow calm down" Zoe sighed pulling herself away from Willow's grab, "Maybe Cordelia is just busy" She suggested. "Well does she normally spend all her time alone in her office?" Willow asked, "No.." Zoe hesitated, suggesting what Willow didn't want to know. Cordelia probably didn't like her anymore.

Cordelia heard a soft whimper coming from Willows room as she made her way around the mansion to make sure everyone was ok, followed by some noise, "Oh my god she hates me!" She heard Willow cry, instantly feeling a lump in her throat and suddenly feeling sick. Cordelia ran into her room which was opposite Willows, she didn't want to hear Willow crying anymore, she hated herself for causing her this pain but she knew she needed to get rid of the crush before she could continue being friends with Willow. Laying on her bed, she buried her head into her pillow as she cried more than she felt she ever had. She thought by now her little crush would have gone, a couple days should have been enough to dismiss whatever this was, however Cordelia felt she could never just be friends with Willow, she felt as if her heart would break knowing that she couldn't mean anymore than just a friend to her. But she also knew she couldn't bear it if Willow felt like what she just witnessed, she knew she only had two choices, risk it all and tell Willow her feelings or say goodbye to the beautiful young witch she was slowly falling in love with.
