This Chapter will include flashbacks of bullying in school and suggestive mentions of a past ED. If you aren't comfortable with reading about these topics please skip to the end and read the bullet points of the major points in the chapter."Girls come on!" Zoe yelled as she walked down the corridor they all had their rooms on. Their original plan was to leave at nine so they could get there early enough that the ice wouldn't start melting by the sun, yet it was almost ten and no one but her and Nan was ready. "Ok ok i'm coming!" Madison yelled as she opened her door, she had a rucksack with some ice skates and a change of clothes if she fell over. Willow eventually came out of her room at the end of the corridor, She did the same with the bag of ice skates and clothes. Willow had asked Cordelia if she wanted to go the night before, but she couldn't convince her, Cordelia just said that she would ruin the fun being worried someone would fall or something.
The four girls got in Zoe's car and drove off out of the academy, listening to Christmas songs (much to Maddison disapproval) and ended up arguing, as usual. "I don't care if she meant to or not! Nan can't just read our minds and tell everyone!" Madison yelled at Zoe, Nan had told them all that Madison was thinking about how she cant wait to get back and 'spend time' with her boyfriend. "Well maybe you shouldnt have been thinking about sex while in a car with someone who is clairvoyant!" Zoe yelled back. They argued like this most of the way, even had to pull over at one point because Madison was threatening to pull Zoe's hair and pull them all off the road by doing so, and so Madison was forced to swap places with Willow and sit in the back with Nan, she had fallen asleep by now though as she didn't want to listen to them all yelling.
It was around eleven when they finally got there. Willow, Nan and Madison got out with all the things and Zoe went to go park the car in a little car park nearby. "Come on you two, it's not that difficult" Nan yelled across to Willow and Madison, who were still putting their skates on while Nan was skating around, much to everyone's surprise she was actually excellent at ice skating. Soon enough however they were all on the Ice, Zoe and Nan chasing each other around, Madison seeing how quickly she could skate, and Willow was just taking in the scenery as she slid over the ice, surrounding them was a forest full with dark rich pine trees and wildlife burst out through the edges, she could see foxes and owls looking for places to sleep, birds of all sorts flying over to catch a glimpse of prey and glide down to get it. It was quite the view.
Just as she was thinking about how much Cordelia would love it here, she tripped on a shard of ice that stuck out and fell, landing straight on her stomach. She ended up sliding along a little before finally reaching a stop by Madison's feet. "Careful Willow, you'll break the ice if you're not careful" She laughed and skated away, showing no interest in actually helping the vulnerable young witch. Willow did however get up herself after a couple failed attempts, and decided that after Madison remark and her own insecurities clouding her thoughts because of it, that she should wait in the car until they all finished and decided to go home. She skated over to solid ground and took her ice skates off, then sat in the car and tried listening to music, but surprisingly her eyes soon became heavy and she ended up falling asleep.
"Dude get up" Willow heard Madison say as she began to wake up by getting shook awake thanks to Madison, she realised they were now back at the academy and Willow must have slept through the ride home. She got out and thanked them for letting her sleep, she made some dumb excuse about not getting much sleep last night, which only backfired when Zoe gave her a smirk, thinking something completely different. Willow managed to get into the academy eventually and was greeted by Cordelia, "good afternoon love, how was skating?" The older witch grabbed onto Willow's shoulders, pulling her into a tight hug, "I missed you" she heard Cordelia whisper once she knew no one else could hear her.
