Sun shone brightly through the window, waking Willow up and forcing her out of bed. Looking towards her clock she quickly realised that she slept in as it was almost midday and she wasn't even dressed. "Oh shit, Miss Cordelia is going to kill me" Willow muttered to herself as she pulled off her pajamas and ran to her wardrobe, grabbing the first thing she saw, which was a pair of oversized dungarees and a grey crop top to match. She quickly put on some mascara and lipgloss before fixing her frizzy hair and then grabbed her favourite pair of vans to put on on her way out. She stumbled through the corridor, hopping on one leg at a time to put on her shoes then ran down the corridor, skidded round the corner to the staircase just to collide with Miss Cordelia, causing them to both stumble down and onto the bottom floor, oh I am so dead now thought Willow as her and Miss Cordelia helped each other up, they looked blankly at each other for a moment before Miss Cordelia burst out laughing!

"Are you ok?" she exclaimed, looking towards Willow, who was in shock at the sudden collision. After a few seconds of realising what was going on she began to laugh with Miss Cordelia and nodded, showing she was fine. "I am so sorry, i woke up late and didn't want to make you mad so i ran downstairs -well at least tried to run downstairs- and then you came round the corner out of nowhere and now I feel like such an idiot" Willow rambled on for about a minute before Miss Cordelia placed her hand on Willows shoulder in an effort to calm her down, "its ok Willow, accidents happen, and as you can see i am absolutely fine so you have nothing to worry about." she smiled, convincing Willow that she was not going to yell.

"So where were you going?" Miss Cordelia asked as the two walked into the kitchen, normally the academy was filled with the laugher of younger witches or chatter as groups of teens and young adults roamed the halls, but since it was a weekend the younger half of the academy was home with their families, and the older half was out either at the bar down the road or out in the woods that stood behind the house. So now the only noise that flowed through the academy was the echo of chatter the two women had begun as they now sat on kitchen stools. "Oh i was just coming to find you, i was wondering if you needed any help with anything today, i haven't made any friends yet and i don't want to be stuck in my room all day." Willow explained taking a sip of coffee that Miss Cordelia made her moments before. "Well i wasn't planning on doing much unfortunately, though i was going to plant some herbs in the garden out back, although i suppose you're much like the others in the fact you don't really care about the herbalism part of witchcraft, you would much rather be taught how to defend yourself against others or cast hexes and such." She sighed looking back up towards Willow, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "No not at all actually, I prefer working with plants and herbs, it relaxes me you know? I feel connected to the earth in some ways, like I am helping it grow so it will help me in return, working with spells and hexes scare me if i'm being quite honest, i've never learnt to control them so i just don't use them." Willow smiled back looking at Miss Cordelia as her face lit up at the younger witches explanation. Miss Cordelia giggled like a child and pulled Willow's hand out of the kitchen and made her way into the garden.

"Woah when you said garden i thought you meant a little sectioned off bit of mud in the ground, not a whole green house" Willow laughed looking around at the structure of the rustic building, the ceiling filled with windows and the walls were made of old bricks, tables stood against three of the four walls, plants pilling over each other, glasses of mystery liquids and posts of herbs sat on shelves nailed to the walls, vines hung from the walls again, much like it did at the main house. "Miss Cordelia this place, its beautiful" Willow gasped walking towards the center of the room, taking in the magical atmosphere. "Thank you, I spend a lot of time here, it's my favourite place." Miss Cordelia smiled back at Willow, proud of herself that she could make such a large room feel cosy and warm.

Miss Cordelia showed Willow over to a corner in the room that had small pots, a few bags of mud, and a collection of seeds, which she guessed were herbs. "This is what we will be doing most of the day, it's not the most exciting thing to do but i think you will enjoy it" The older witch said, grabbing the bags of mud and dropped them over the table in the center of the room. Willow picked up the collection of seeds and the pots and followed Miss Cordelia over to the table. They got to work on the herbs, placing a handful of mud into the pot and then digging a small hole to place the seeds in, it was silent for a while, before Willow accidently let some mud go as it spilled onto Miss Cordelia's dress, which was red and flowy. "Oh my god Miss Cordelia i am so sorry" She gasped brushing off the mud, Miss Cordelia smirked and said "don't worry, i'll get you back" before grabbing some mud out of the bag and chucking it at Willow, the younger witch squealed and brushed it off and pulled some more mud out of the same bag and tried to throw it at Miss Cordelia, but before Willow could realise it she ran in the opposite direction, dodging the throw.

The two witches giggled and squealed as they chased each other around the greenhouse, collecting mud from the bag when they passed it and threw it in each other's direction. Willow dodged Miss Cordelia's throw but fell over a vine that was tangled on the floor, she fell face first into the ground. Realising what had happened, Miss Cordelia dropped down next to the young girl and lifted her face, seeing that she was awake but had a large gash across her face. "Oh my goddess Willow, I'm so sorry, hear let me tidy that up for you." She apologized and helped Willow up and sat her on the table they were working on before so she could get a better view of what the gash looked like, "Miss Cordelia, im fine really, it's just a little cut." Willow argued and raised her hand up towards the cut to see how bad it was, but before she reached it Miss Cordelia gently grabbed her hand and pulled it away, hesitating a moment before finally letting go, instantly missing the soft touch of the younger witches skin against her own.
