I am so so sorry for not updating, I have had the worst headache. And we all know end of the year tests for the most part suck. Anyone have remedies for that? Anyway, I digress. Last time, Ginny was just about to step onto Platform 9 3/4. BTW, some of this chapter will be in Ginny's POV. Also there will be some girl stuff in this. Menstrual cycles and whatnot. I dont know how many of you are boys or not, so it that makes you uncomfortable you can skip. I will put a warning or something.
I ran through the barrier, waiting for the impact of the brick wall hitting me, but nothing happened. Obviously. I think I will always be scared of that harmless barrier hurting me. It's a goddamn brick wall at sight!
I opened my eyes and saw the familiar sight of the Hogwarts Express. I would be glad to go, but Umbridge is there, Lexi is still gone, and Harry and the twins got BANNED from Quidditch. What the heck?!
Well good news I take Harry's place as seeker. No one thinks I can do a good job, cause I dont play, but I have my secret weapons.I have sneaked into our broom shed in the garden from the age of 6 to 'borrow' the boys brooms. Ha! And they think I can't play!
I walked with my trunk behind me, just taking it all in. I could see first years who had come back from their first Christmas break, their faces lighting up upon seeing the Hogwarts Express once more.
I could see Cora, Rose and Michael waiting for me to come and join them and I am quite sure that Cora would have whistled loudly to gwt my attention, if Rose hadn't grabbed her arm and held it tight.
I smiled and walked over to them.
"Hey Laurs, Cors, Michael." I gave the girls a hug, even though we saw each other not even an hour before.
"Hi Gin...hey where's that other girl yoy hang out with? Lexi, right?" Michael asked looking around.
I gritted my teeth. We were warned specifically not to tell a soul about Lexi and her disappearance. It would give out too much.
"She has some, er, family business. She might not come at all this year. It really sucks." Cora spoke up.
Thank you Cora!
"Aww damn. She was funny and nice and everything. Well, let's go find an empty compartment, shall we ladies?" Michael held the door open and walked in.
The door smacked me in the face when I tried to go through.
"Shit! Sorry Ginny." Michael said, but was obviously trying to stifle a laugh.
"Shut up! Cora!" I glared at Cora, but she was too busy laughing. Full out laughing.
When we finally got to our compartment and pushed our trunks in, Rose looked at me meaningfully.
******************************
"P. E emergency." She said biting her lip.I widened my eyes. Rose is usually so careful with her period.
"Oh uh, Michael?"
"Yeah?"
"We kind of, um." How do you explain a period to a boy?!
"It's Rose's time of the month." Cora said, unashamed.
"Oh. Sorry." Michael turned beet red and rushed out of the compartment with his trunk behind him.
"Way to be subtle." I scolded her.
"Do you need a pad or a tampon or something?" I asked urgently.
"Erm."
"Speak up Laura Rose!" Cora shouted.
"Cora calm down. She's hormonal." I hissed.
"Meh. Now, you forgot your period?"
