I woke up in my room. Safe and sound. No Death Eaters, no Voldemort. Just me and the girls. I sighed. The battle was over. But I was an inch away from death.

"Ginny! Look out!" I hear Harry call out, but I don't understand why. No one's attacking me or anything

He runs over and pushes me down to the floor hard. As I look up, I see a green jet of light pass by, right where I'd been standing seconds ago.

That was traumatizing. But the most horrifying thing was what happened around the end.

"SIRIUS!" Harry screams.

I could see Bellatrix Lestrange aim to shoot a spell at Sirius from behind him. I try to call out, to warn him, but the Death Eater holding me slapped my mouth shut.

I closed my eyes tightly when I heard the spell making contact with someone.

"NO! SIRIUS! NOOOO!" Harry's screams were killing me. I wanted to cry but I couldn't with this asshole holding me.

I could see Remus grabbing Harry as he tried to run after Bellatrix. No, prevail.

I shuddered. He was dead. And I felt utterly horrible.

I wanted us to save Sirius the way Harry had saved my father. But we ended up doing the exact opposite. Harry's done so much for my family, and I wasn't even able to repay him.

Ever since the battle ended, I'd been getting nightmares every night. It was horrible. I think you call it PTSD, but I'm probably overreacting.

I walked out of my room, the room I was currently sharing with Cora and Rose.

And Lexi.

Yeah, Lex was at the battle locked up in some kind of Muggle tug-of-war thing. Rope, I think it's called. Once Remus found her, we brought her back to the Burrow.

She's definitely going to have PTSD from whatever the Death Eaters did to her, but we'll be there with her.

"Hey, Ginny." I heard an exhausted voice say.

I sat down next to him on the ground.

"Hey, Harry. How're you holding up?"

"It's all my fault, Ginny." He said after a few minutes. I didn't need to ask about what.

"Harry, Sirius loved you. So much. And he still does. Okay? It was not your fault. You wanted to save him. Sirius knew that. And he wanted to save you. He cares about you."

Harry laughed bitterly.
"Don't you mean cared?"

I shook my head.
"No. He cares about you. He always has and will always."

"Ginny I think you missed the part where he died. He can't care about me if he's dead." He rolled his eyes.

"Who said Mr. I Know Everything? Besides, Mum raised us as Christians. I like to believe that somewhere up in the sky, Sirius is watching us. Along with your parents. They've been watching you all of your life Harry. They love you. Present tense." I smiled at him softly.

"I like the way you think." Harry nudged me.

I nudged him back.
"Go get some sleep. I know for a fact that you haven't had any since we came back. I also know that since school ends soon, and you have to go to the Dursleys', you probably won't get any sleep at that hellhole." I brushed off the nonexistent dirt on my knees.

"Fine. But only if you tell me once you have a nightmare." Harry held out his pinkie finger.

I stared at him.
