She was looking through her closet for something nice to wear for tonight.

"What about this one Tikki?" Marinette came out of the closet wearing a sky blue dress which she had made a while ago. It was a plain dress with the sleeves hanging slightly off her shoulders. It was simple but beautiful all the same.

"It looks amazing on you!" Tikki was complimenting her holder, "And, it brings out the color of your eyes."

Marinette smiled, "Thanks Tikki!" She looked down at the dress, "Yeah, I really like it too. I'm going to wear this one."

"Great! Now we just have to think about your hair and some make up," Tikki encouraged.

Marinette stood in front of the mirror fiddling with her hair, "A bun... a braid... pigtails?" She looked at Tikki, "What should I do?"

Tikki giggled at her nervous ways, "Maybe try leaving it out? I remember that one time you did and it looked really good."

"If you say so," She let her hair go so it fell just slightly past her shoulders. She then went to the bathroom to apply some light make up.

Meanwhile at the Agreste mansion and equally nervous Adrien was running around his room. He was looking around for the button up shirt he was going to wear.

"Will you stop pacing? You're making me so nervous I'm getting distracted from my Camembert," Plagg was looking at his holder.

"Maybe if you helped me get ready I wouldn't be so nervous," Adrien shot back at him. He had finally found everything he needed and hurried to the bathroom to style his slightly messy hair.

"You shouldn't worry. I don't think pigtails would mind if you turned up in a t-shirt and shorts," Plagg offered.

Adrien glared at him, "Doesn't mean I shouldn't dress up."

Marinette was rummaging in a drawer for her phone.

"Aha!" She picked up her phone and started scrolling through her contacts. When she reached Alya's number she pressed call.

Alya picked up, "Hey girl! Show me, show me, show me!"

Marinette giggled at Alya's excited squeals. She stood up and turned on the spot showing of the sky blue dress she was wearing.

"Wow! You look amazing girl! Did you make the dress?" Alya was awed by her best friend.

Marinette nodded getting another round of compliments from Alya.

"Thanks. I hope Adrien thinks the same."

"Of course he will. He would be crazy not to," Alya giggled at her friend's nervousness.

"Honey, Adrien's here!" Marinette's mother called up.
