Jealousy can completely take control of you.

This was what a certain orange haired boy realised as he grabbed an unsuspecting Marinette by the wrist, into a nearby alley.

Marinette was squinting her eyes to try see who had pulled her here so unexpectedly while she was on her way to school. She couldn't see clearly because it was so dark but she did notice a mob of flaming orange hair in front of her. She realised it must be Nathaniel. He was one of the few people she knew that had bright orange hair. She wondered what he wanted and why he didn't just tell her in a more civilized way.

"Nathaniel? Is something wrong?" Marinette tried to ask him but he didn't answer her, "Nathan-!"

He had grabbed her waist and pulled her closer roughly. Marinette tried to struggle out of his grip but his hold was tight.

"You will be mine," His voice was so cold that it made Marinette shiver, "I liked you for longer and I have done more things for you."

Nathaniel came closer but just before he could smash his lips onto the trembling Marinette there was a rough, "Hemhem."

Nathaniel let out a groan and a, "What now?!"

"Nothing, I just think you have the wrong girl," Adrien's tone was friendly but if looks could kill Nathaniel would've dropped dead right then and there.

"Oh really? I don't think she is the wrong girl at all," Nathaniel gave a smirk, "Anyways, I deserve her more than you. You didn't do anything to deserve her."

"Yet I'm still her boyfriend. But she is not a price to win. She is a girl who is perfectly capable of choosing between you and me," Adrien growled out.

"Ok then," Nathaniel growled back, "Who do you pick, Marinette," He smirked at her, obviously confident that she would choose him.

"Adrien," was all Marinette said and she didn't dare to say more.

Adrien smiled at her while Nathaniel gave out another annoyed groan, "You can't be ridiculous I-"

"We agreed that she would choose. She chose now leave her alone," Adrien cut him off.

Nathaniel balled his fists and aimed a punch at Adrien's face, but before it could touch him Adrien stopped the fist with his hand, thanks to his cat like reflexes, and pushed Nathaniel's hand back to him.

"Stay away from her or else," was all it took for Nathaniel to quickly get out from the dark alley.

When he was out of sight Marinette let out a sigh.

"Thanks Adrien," She stood on her tiptoes and gave him a quick peck on his cheek.

He took her hand gently to his lips and gave her a small kiss on her knuckles. "Always m'lady."
