AUTHOR'S NOTE: Sorry it's really short I just wanted to write and didn't have much time.
I hate school. It's just a death trap. Teachers give you stress and bullies kill your spirit. I don't even think I have spirit anymore. I definitely don't have the motivation to get up. Then I hear the door creak. I just pretend I'm sleeping. I don't know why I'm awake. My alarm clock hasn't gone off yet. I hear a click. I think someone just turned off my alarm clock. Then I hear someone place something on my bed side table and leave the room. As soon as they're gone I look at the table. My alarm is switched off and there is a note. It explains that I have a snow day and not to think that my alarm clock didn't go off and I was late for school. It was from Gerard. I'm so happy I don't have to go school. I lay back down and drift off to sleep for a couple more hours. Today is going to be awesome. After I wake up a couple hours later I go down the stairs and walk straight to the kitchen. I'm hungry. I throw in a plate of pizza rolls and sit at the kitchen table waiting for them to be done. There is a pencil and a sketch book to my side. It's probably Gerard's. I wonder... I pick up the sketch book and start to look at the drawings inside. They're beautiful. These are seriously the coolest drawings ever. Some of them are really complex and look like they took forever. Others are just cute little doodles he did in his free time. I just sit there staring intensely at each page. He's so talented. Then I see a blank page. It's about to fall out. He probably wouldn't notice if it did. I carefully take out the blank page and place it in front of me. I pick up the pencil. I don't know what to draw. I decide to just let my mind drift. I draw a young girl sitting under a tree. It's fall and the leaves are changing colors, but she looks like she's dressed for summer. The young girl is reading a book. She's wearing a yellow dress and a bow in her hair, but she is missing her shoes. Where are her shoes? I smile at the picture. You can't see her face very well when you look at it. I don't know who she is, but she makes me happy. "Nice, but where's the shoes?" Gerard asks putting a hand on the back of my chair. "I don't know." For once I'm not really that upset that he has seen my art. I don't really care about him seeing this one. It's happy...I think. I don't really understand what the picture means. Normally all of my drawings have meaning. I'll probably figure it out later. "How long have you been drawing that?" Gerard asks walking over to the microwave. "Not long. Why?" It couldn't have been that long. "Oh. So why didn't you realize the pizza rolls gave been beeping for over an hour?" What?! "Okay maybe I zoned into the drawing." I say putting the pencil down. "I thought so." He says cleaning up the pizza rolls. "That's really good by the way." He says sitting down next to me. "Who is it?" He asks turning it towards himself and looking at it closer. "I don't know." I say honestly. "She looks a little bit like you." I guess she does. That can't be me. "It's not me. It can't be me." I say certain that it is not me, but confused on who it actually is. "I'm sure you'll figure it out." He says grabbing his sketch book and leaving the room. Who could it be?
