The light shines bright through my window as I cover my head with a pillow trying to block out the light. I need more sleep. Another sucky week went by full of endless school hours and gallons of stress induced tears. Teachers have been really hard on us lately cause the finals are only like a month and a half away. Thank God it's the weekend. I don't want to get up. The door opens. Whoever it is, please get the fuck out. What? I said please. "Rise and shine." I hear the sarcastic voice of Gerard Way say from a few feet away. I start to sing. "Good morning, good morning, I hate all of you!" In a happy tone. He laughs. "That's the spirit!" He says and his tone just grows with sarcasm after every word. After about ten minuets of convincing I follow Gerard downstairs. We eat breakfast and all the normal morning shit. "So what are you gonna do today?" He asks me. "I don't know." I respond. "I have nothing planned, so you can do whatever you want." He answers walking into the other room. This is awesome! I go back upstairs and pick up my laptop. Then I go back to my old tab. I need to finish this amazing fanfic I started a couple days ago. It's an mcr fic of course. This is why I thank God for the history deletion option. It would be so weird if Gee found out that I was reading fanfics about him. Jess sent me a stupid fic about My Chem as vampires and I didn't want to read it, but she begged me for a week. I thought I would hate it, but it's actually REALLY good. I don't 100% agree on the ships, but whatever. The pairings were MikeyxOC and FrankxGerard. Yup. That's right I was reading something with Frerard. It wasn't the main ship, but I still feel kinda awkward and bad cause I know they don't really like it and Gee is my dad so it's even weirder. I don't really wanna spoil the fanfic for anybody who wants to read it, but I'm crying actual tears because there is a death happening. Then I hear a knock. "In a minuet!" I yell, minimizing my tab and whipping my tears. "Come in." I say trying to act casual. Gerard walks in. "Hey, I was wondering-" he pauses and stares at me. "Have you been crying?" He says coming closer and sitting next to me on my bed. "No!" I say slapping on a smile. "Are you sure?" He asks with sass. Why am I such a bad lier?! "I'm fine. I was just reading a sad ending to a book." I say hoping he doesn't ask any further questions. "Ohhhh. Okay. What book?" He asks curiosity filling his eyes. "Well it's kinda an unpublished book. I found it on the Internet." I respond hoping he doesn't understand. He pauses for a minuet. It was a long, dead silent minuet. "Please tell me your not reading fanfiction." He says with a straight face. I start to laugh nervously. "Why would I be reading that shit?!" I say, hoping that he believes me. "I'm just giving you a hard time." He laughs. "Fanfiction is pretty cool. I'd rather have you locked in your room reading than running around at wild parties, drinking, and doing drugs. Plus it's really creative. Creativity is the best skill a person can have in my opinion." He says picking up my computer. "Thank God!" I say laughing. "What are you reading about?" He asks opening my computer and bringing up the tab. "Oh!" He says quickly shutting the laptop and handing it back to me. "I promise that's not the main ship and I didn't even chose to read it! Jess forced me!" I say in defense. "Relax! I just saw the pairings and the warning label and was caught a bit off guard." He says laughing again. This is the most awkward situation. God, why am I so flipping awkward?! There is a silent moment filled with nothing, but thoughts. "Sometimes I like to read fanfiction to see what's going on in the fans' heads." Gee says breaking the silence. My face goes red because I remember the times that I tried to write fanfiction. "The authors would die if they knew you had read their content." I say and we both laugh. "One time Mikey got sent a link to a fanfic over Twitter and he opened and read one paragraph, then screamed and got out of the page." We both laugh. "Yeah, he talked about it in an interview once. It was Waycest, wasn't it?" Gerard nods his head as we both continue to laugh. After the laughing fades a question pops into my head. Why the hell is Gee in my room anyway?! "Gee, why are you in my room?" I ask and he puts on a thinking face almost like he's trying to remember why as well. "I have some news!" He says with a smile on his face. "Are you going to tell me this news, or are you just gonna sit here and smile?!" I say getting excited as well. "You know how Mikey and Kristin are getting pretty serious?" He asks. "Yes, now carry on with information!" I say getting more excited by the minuet. "Well, he proposed." Gee says and his smile grows with my mine. "And?! Did she says yes?!" I ask needing to know the answer. "Yup!" He says and his smile gets even bigger. I see a sense of pride for his brother. It makes me even happier, if that's possible. I gotta text Jess. "Can I tell Jess?" I ask knowing that it's not my announcement to make so I should get permission first. "Go ahead. He's gonna tweet it soon, but I thought you might want to find out from me instead of the Internet." He says and I scramble for my phone. I pick it up and start texting Jess. *Guess what.* I type and almost immediately get an answer. *What? Did you finish the fic? Did it ruin your life?* She replies and I text back *Yes and yes, but that's not what I wanted to tell you.* I type back. *What is it?* She questions. *Mikey's getting married!* I send and then my phone begins to ring. I answer it on speaker phone which was probably a bad idea because as soon as I click the button I hear a blood curdling scream. "OH MY GOD I'M SO HAPPY FOR MY BABY!" I hear on the other line. Gee begins to laugh. "PLEASE TELL ME I'M NOT ON SPEAKER PHONE!" Why is she still yelling. "Hi Jess." Gee says in between laughs. "Oh, hey Gerard. Anyway..OH MY GOD MIKEY!" She says. Her mind has such a short attention span. Then I hear a buzz coming from my phone. I open Twitter with her still on the other line and I hear a scream before it will load. "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!" I hear Jess scream. It's the announcement. I can't wait to see Kristin in a big, long, beautiful, white dress, but most of all I can't wait to see Mikey in a suit standing at the end of the isle with a smile plastered on his face. I'm so fucking excited.
