Unexpected to Least Expected

Chapter 9~No alcohol

We have random conversations while we eat. Tae listened to me and put his clothes back on. Yoongi was disappointed, but he got over it when Hoseok started talking to him. Kook's friends really talk about a lot of sexual things, it's quite amusing to listen to.

Jin was pouring everyone some wine, fancy. He passed me a glass, "Oh no thank you."

"Really? You love wine." Tae responds.

I sigh, "I have something important to do tomorrow and I need to do it sober."

"It's just one glass. Come on you're missing out, it's really good."

"She said no." Kook says in a stern yet calm tone.

Tae laughs, "You don't need to talk for her."

Kook tenses a bit. I put my hand against his chest to tell him to stop, "It's all good Tae. You can enjoy it without me tonight."

He frowns, "Okay. But were going drinking again soon."

Shit, "Umm. Maybe I have exams coming up soon."

Jo laughs, "Those are in like 3 months."

I sigh, "I need to start reviewing now." I laugh.

Everyone gives me confused looks. "Are you going to AA meetings or something."

I laugh, "No. I'm just taking a break from alcohol for a little while."

"Why?" Tae asks. Kook tenses again, I push him a bit more again.

"I want to see how long I can last without it." I smile. They don't look convinced.

Ray coughs, "Jin what's this plate called it's so good."

Jin looks away from me and over to Ray, "Oh, umm. I don't know, it's my moms recipe."

Tae continues to examine me. At this point everyones moved onto a different topic of conversation. Kooks still quiet next to me, he's very defensive when it comes to me and Tae.

Tae's still watching me. He points at me and then towards the hallway. I roll my eyes. He gives me a stern look, I nod in reply. We both get up. Kook grabs my hand, "Where are you going?"

I smile, "I'm fine. I'm just going to talk to Tae for a minute. Don't worry and stay here." He sighs and release my hand.

I walk out into the hall way. Tae walks with me a bit further down it so we have a bit more privacy.

He examines me for the 100th time tonight, "What's going on with you? You always drink when were out. And don't say any bull shit about staying sober or whatever, I've known you since middle school. I was there when you learnt your drinking limit and its definitely more than just one glass of wine."

I sigh, "Tae I. I just don't want to drink." It's so hard not to tell him.

He laughs, "He didn't knock you up did he?"

Fuck. Do I say yes and get it over with or do I lie, "Umm. Well-"

"WHAT THE FUCK! YOU'RE PREGNANT!?" I push him against the wall and placed my hand over his mouth.

"Did you really need to yell that?"

He pushes my hand off of him, "How long?"

I sigh, "A little over a month."

"I'm going to kill him." He tries to push me off him.

I push him back, "No, you are not. He has been really good to me and I don't need you taking him away from me."
