Unexpected to Least Expected

Chapter 16~Prepared and unprepared

*9:30pm*

I wake up to people laughing. I slowly open my eyes. I'm laying on the couch with Kook. I smell food. I sit up, "Food?" My eyes still partially shut.

Everyone laughs, "We ordered pizza." Ray!

I get up and walk over to her. She opens her arms and I lay down against her. Kook huffs, "I lost my cuddle buddy."

Ray shakes her head, "No you stole mine."

Tae laugh, "She was technically mine first."

Kook warns him, "Don't start."

I sigh, "Behave." Oh I just remembered why I was here. I sit up in Rays hold, "Ray, the baby's gender."

She smiles and puts her hand against my stumach, "I know, Bunnys a girl."

I frown and look at Kook, "You told her without me?"

His eyes go wide, "Uhh, well technically you were sleeping and we didn't want to wake you. And Ray didn't want to wait."

I pout, "You were supposed to wait."

Kook comes to my side and gives me a little pout, "Forgive me?"

I roll my eyes, "No." He grabs a piece of pizza and passes it to me. I take it and bite into it, "Yes."

He smiles and pulls me off of Ray. He brings me onto the couch and I sit on his lap while I continue to eat the slice.

"So how much longer again?" Tae asks.

"About 5 months left. I think, Kook?"

He nods, "Yeah she's 4 months in, so about 5 more."

He nods in agreement, "So you're in the second trimester now then?"

"I don't know, I don't really listen to the doctor."

Kook sighs, "Yes. She'll be heading into the third trimester in a couple weeks."

I look up at him, "I'm glad you pay attention."

He rolls his eyes, "I have to." I nod in agreement, "I honestly don't know how you passed your exams."

"By taking other peoples notes and reading the text books." I retaliate.

Ray laughs, "Did you guys start thinking of names?"

I shake my head no. Kook speaks, "Yes."

I look up at him, "What? When?"

He sighs, "I told you some last week. Remember when you were waking up."

"Oh okay I'll stop you right there. When has it ever been a good thing to tell me something when I first wake up?"

He rolls his eyes, "Anyways, yes. I had some girl and boy names, but were not having a boy so it doesn't matter." Tae laughs. Kook looks over at him, "What are you laughing about?"

Tae looks over at the both of us, "Well mainly the reason that in most relationships like this, the female usually takes charge. While the man is confused as hell." I take a bite of another slice of pizza, "But you guys have switched rolls."

Ray laughs, "Omg that's so true, Ha."

Kook gives me a confused look, I shrug my shoulders and continue eating.

Ray grabs a slice of pizza, "So what are the names you've thought of?"

Kook rubs my tummy, "Well I like Soo-ah or maybe Soo-jin." I look up at him. Soo-ah? Soo-jin? Hmm. He looks down at me, "What?"

I shrug my shoulders and take another bite of the pizza.

Ray laughs, "They're nice names. Y/n, don't you agree?"

I look over at Ray, "I don't know. We'll talk about it another time." Kook pinches my arm, "Ow! What was that for?"

"You don't like them."

"I never said that."

"You implied it."

I roll my eyes, "All I said is that we'll talk about it another time."

Kook huffs, "Mhm. Well everytime I do bring it up you're either 'sleeping' or need to do something."

I sit up off him, "Well you pick the worst times to talk about it."

"No, I pick the right time it's you who says it's a bad time. It's like you don't even want to have the baby some days."

"I'm the one carrying it." I stand up off the couch. And walk away.

Kook stands up, "Where are you going?" I ignore him and go into my old room and shut the door in his face. I stand infront of the door to block it. He turns the knob and pushes but I push back so he can't open it, "Y/n, let me in."

"No." He pushes the door again.

"LET ME IN."

I start to cry, "NO."

He stops pushing and slaps the door. I flinch at the noise. He walks away. I fall to the ground and cry.
