*8:34pm*
We all finished up our food in silence. My mom starts to collect the dishes. I stand up to help her but she waves her hand, "No honey. I'm alright I can do it on my own."
"No mom-"
"I'm fine. Sit." She uses a stern tone, so I listen.
"Honey she wants to help."
"And I don't need it." My mom takes the dishes and leaves.
My dad looks at me with a confused expression, "What did you do?"
I shrug my shoulders, "I'm sure it's fine."
He nods, "Okay well. Let's go sit in the living room. We can talk more in there, I still have a few questions to ask Jungkook."
"Oh ok." We get up and walk towards the living room.
My dad pauses for a moment, "I'm going to check on your mother. Go sit in the living room."
I nod and he walks to the kitchen. I pull Kook into the living room and sit him on the couch, "That was awkward."
I place a hand on my face, "Yeah, well we still need to tell him about Bunny."
He tilts my head towards him, "It'll be okay. We'll tell him, have a civil conversation, and then go home like nothing happened."
I sigh, "Your savings for the future-"
"I have enough saved up for what I have planned, along with dealing with two other people."
"Kook."
He shakes his head, "Don't worry about it."
My dad coughs, "What's going on here?"
Kook pulls away from my face and sits up straight. I quietly laugh, "Nothing's going on."
"Mhm." My dad moves to his liquor cabinet, "Jungkook do you drink?"
"Yes sir."
My dad looks back at him, "Good. I enjoy a drink when company is over. What's your poison?"
Kook laughs, "Umm, I don't really have one. I'll have whatever your having."
"From that answer I'm guessing you drink to get drunk?" My dad questions.
Kook pauses for a moment, "There's more to drinking than getting drunk. I just don't have a specific drink that I enjoy more than others."
My dad laughs, "Well then. I'll make you a manhattan."
Kook nods, "Sure, sounds good." My dad makes the drinks.
He hands Kook his drink, "Y/n do you want one?"
I shake my head, "Not tonight."
He sits down with his drink in hand. Kook takes a sip of his drink, "This is good."
My dad nods, "Yes it's my wifes favorite."
My mom walks in and takes her glass. She sits in her chair and looks at me. She gives me a look that says 'time to spill'.
I sigh and look at my father, "Umm, dad. I need to tell you something important."
My dad puts his drink down and looks at me, "Okay, what is it?"
I look over at Kook, he's staying quiet and I see a touch of fear in his eyes. So much for him telling my parents. I look back at my dad and give an awkward smile, "I, umm, may or may not be... pregnant." I mumble the last part.
I watch my dads face turn blank. No emotion present. I start to worry. I look at my mom, "Honey?"
My dad coughs, but he doesn't respond. He sighs and opens his mouth, "So that's the real reason why you're here then. To tell your mother and I that the man next to you got you pregnant."
I look down at my feet, "Well no. I also wanted you to meet him. He's a good guy."
My dad scoffs, "He got you pregnant. You're not financially ready for that. How are you going to be able to take care of a child if you can barely take care of yourself."
I feel my eyes tear up. Kook speaks for me, "She's not doing this alone. I don't plan on leaving anytime soon. I have enough to support the three of us."
My dad shakes his head, "Not with how you plan on living your life."
"Honey." My mom adds in, "They are old enough to know how to deal with the consequences."
"You knew?" My mom nods, "So you told your mother before me?" I don't respond, "How far along are you?"
"3 months."
My dad stands up, "HE GOT YOU PREGNANT THE FIRST TIME YOU MET?"
My mom looks shocked as well. I sigh, "It was an accident."
"Well no shit-"
Kook stands up, "Don't yell at her. You are only going to make things worse."
My dad scoffs, "I'm going to? You're the one who got her pregnant. I think YOU should leave so I can have a proper talk with my daughter about how she's going to deal with the thing inside her."
Tears fall from my eyes. Kook shakes his head, "I am not leaving her. Especially right now."
My mom stands up, "Okay I think we should all calm down-"
"DO NOT START." My mom sits back down, "You have no right to make decisions when it comes to my daughter."
"Well she has my child so I think I have equal right. Plus she's an adult and she can make her own decisions."
My dad walks forward. I stand up infront of Kook, "Dad stop!" He stops moving and looks at me, "I don't expect you to like my decisions, but they are my decisions. I-I am going to have this child and Jungkook is going to help me rase it. I don't need you to support me, I just needed to tell you."
He glares at me, "Leave."
What? I stay still, and absorb what he just said. Kook takes my hand.
My mom stands up, "Honey-"
"GET OUT." Kook pulls my hand and we walk out. I leave my parents house, like my dad said.
