Unexpected to Least Expected

Chapter 10~Boys will be boys

*next morning~10:23*

I wake up in a bed. How did I get here? I look around and recognize the room right away, Kook. I sigh and get up.

I go to the bathroom and wait for a moment. Then like I believed would happen, I puke.

I hear footsteps and then someone sits next to me and pats my back.

I finish puking and flush the toilet. The person hands me a tissue, "Thanks." I take it and wipe my mouth, "Kook?-" My eyes widen, "Tae? Wha-what are you doing here?"

He smiles at me. His eye is swollen and has a dark bruise surrounding it, his lip has a little split from where it was bleeding last night.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking yesterday. I shouldn't have focused on the what ifs and focused on the now. And now you're saying you need me here, so I'll be here."

I smile and pull him into a hug, "Thank you." He hugs me back. I pull away, "Wait why are you here? Where's Kook?"

I hear a cough in the doorway, "I'm here."

I give them a confused expression, "So you guys are-"

"After you left we all went looking for you. Tae ended up finding you asleep on a bench and brought you back to the house. After a couple disagreements we finally found a common ground."

"We both want what's best for you." Tae finished for him.

I smiled and start to cry. Kook comes down next to me. Tae looked worried, "Don't cry. Why is she crying?"

Kook laughs, "Because she's happy. You'll get used to her rollercoaster of emotions eventually."

I laugh, "Thank you guys so much. I-I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have you both."

Kook lays against the tub and pulls me to his chest, "We're not leaving. Not now, not ever." I continue to lay on Kook. He rubs circles against my back. I slowly fall back to sleep.

*12:43*

"Y/n~" I wake up to Tae tapping me. I roll over towards him.

"What?" I say with my eyes still shut.

"Jungkook made lunch. He also said that the doctor said you shouldn't take long naps during the day."

I huff, "Why not?"

"I don't know I'm just the messenger. Can you please wake up."

I sit up my eyes still shut, "I really don't like it when you people keep waking me up from my sleep."

He laughs and gets up off the bed, "Come on. He made Noodles."

Intriguing. I get up with my blanket wrapped around my body. I shuffle into the the kitchen. Kook sees me and smiles, "Morning, well afternoon."

I huff, "Feed me."

He laughs, "Go sit down I'll be there in a minute with food." I nod and shuffle out the room and go to sit on the couch. I sit next to Tae and lay my head against his lap while I stretch out along the couch. He pushes my blanket off my head and brushes his hand through my hair.

Kook walks in with 3 bowls, "Yah I may be on good terms with him but I'm not letting you lay on him."

I huff, "But I'm comfy."

Tae laughs, "You can take my spot and I'll sit at her feet."

Kook hesitates for a moment, "F-fine." He places the bowls on the coffee table. Tae gets up and Kook sits down. I feel my legs being lifted then Tae sits down and places my legs down against him.

I hum in satisfaction, "Ok now feed me." I open my mouth so Kook can insert food. He laughs and grabs two bowls. He passes one to Tae. He scoops up some noodles with his chopsticks and aims it for my mouth.

I tilt my head up and eat them all, "Mmm. Good."

They both laugh. Kook continues to feed me. Tae put on some anime. I don't remember the name of it but it's fun to watch.

After the noodles are done. I lay back down comfortably against Kook. I try to fall back to sleep but he keeps telling me not to.

"Please. Just let me. Just this once."

"No, your doctor said you shouldn't be sleeping this much. She wants you keeping healthy and exercising. That reminds me we're going for a walk later."

I shake my head, "Like hell I am." I sit up off of both Tae and Kook, and sit in between them. My arms crossed over my chest.

There's a knock at the door. Tae stands up, "I'll get it." He goes to the door and opens it, "Oh hey Ray."

She walks in, "Hey is she up yet... Y/n!" She runs over to me. She gives me a big hug, which I gladly return. She squishes my face with her hands, "How are you? Are these two really behaving?"

I nod in her grasp, "They are good from what I see. Kook is being an ass though."

"Hey what, how?" He complains.

Ray releases my face and I look at him, "You're not letting me sleep and you're forcing me to walk."

Ray laughs, "That's not his fault, that's from the doctor. Plus you do need to keep active, it's important even if you aren't pregnant."

I look back at her, "You're in on this too. Is everyone against me?"

Tae coughs, "In my defense I was going to let you sleep."

"Wow that's not fair you're just trying to get on her good side." Kook exclaims.

He laughs, "Is it working?" He looks at me. I shake my head, "Damn why not?"

"You woke me up."
