Unexpected to Least Expected

Chapter 25~Trip back

*2:43pm*

"How did you do that?"

Tae shrugs, "I don't know. It just broke, my parents were pissed."

I laugh, "That's why you needed to move out?"

He nods, "Yeah. My dad was not happy with the costs of fixing it."

"But how do you break a toilet like that."

He laughs, "It wasn't totally my fault, I just flushed and then water starting coming out of it."

I keep laughing for a little longer. Then the car goes silent. It's not an awkward silence though.

Tae sighs, "So, you and Kook are really serious now huh?"

I look over at him, "Why? You jealous?" He doesn't answer. My eyes go wide, "Really? Wow."

"What? It's just that I'm used to being the male figure in your life, but now Kooks taken that role."

I look back out the front window, "You had plenty of chances. You just chose not to take them."

He sighs, "I wanted to."

I look back at him with a confused look, "What?"

He looks at me for a second and then back at the road, "Y/n. I've loved you ever since we met. I always thought it was more in a sisterly way, but the passed few years I've realized it was a bit more."

"Why didn't you say anything?"

He sighs, "Because I didn't want to ruin our friendship. You mean the world to me y/n and if I lost you because of anything I wouldn't be able to function."

"Why are you telling me this now?"

He pulls the car over and looks at me, "Because I needed to tell you. Because I know you love Jungkook and I won't be able to get a shot ever again. I guess I needed to tell you for some sort of closure. I'm sorry I know this was very unexpected-" I open the car door and quickly get out, "Where are you going?"

I bend down to my knees on the side of the road and puke. Tae gets out of the car and comes to my side. He rubs my back, while I continue to puke.

After I'm done I wipe my lips and look at him. He gives me a concerned look, "Are you okay? You look very pale."

I nod, "I-I'm fine." He helps me up and I feel unbalanced.

He catches me, "Jesus y/n." He helps me back into the car. I sit back down and lay my head agaisnt the chair. I feel tired, I fall asleep.
