Fate POV

Finding my way around isn't very hard and I navigate us to the closest adventurers guild.

Throughout the walk, Ambrosia has a smile plastered on her face the entire time. She looked like she was living the dream, even though there's a slight strain on that smile.

She's tense, probably worried she'll be jumped at any second now. All I can do for now is be a pillar she can rely on.

Risu has also been enjoying the view from atop my shoulder. I find it kind of funny being the only one who can see her, we would be quite the sight to others.

We arrive at the adventurers guild. It is quite large, like most buildings are in the royal capital.

The words and language in this world looks and sounds much different compared to earth and I only understand them because of Aether's memories. I wonder how the rest of the class is doing, I bet they're all still learning how to read and write.

I snicker to myself.

Risu/Ambrosia: "What's so funny?"

Fate: "Ahh nothing, by the way, Ambrosia, do you know how to fight?" I inquire

Ambrosia: "Of course I do, I'm the head of the clan for a reason you know." She says proudly.

Fate: "What's your weapon of choice then?"

Ambrosia: "A scythe." She says plainly.

A scythe? That actually sounds really cool.

Fate: "Do you have one?"

Ambrosia: "Well..." She leans into my ear to whisper. "My •Blood Morph• isn't high enough level to maintain my blood's form without the extra use of mana."

Perhaps we can change that in the future.

Fate: "What other weapons can you use?"

Ambrosia: "I'm pretty good with a sword." She states confidently.

Fate: "We'll just register today and get you a weapon so we can start doing quests tomorrow." I plan.

Ambrosia: "Right!" She says enthusiastically.

So we enter the guild and it's just like every anime and manga Kazuki has watched or read.

Adventurers of all shapes, age, and races were everywhere. Observing all the different people I was filled with amazement but it was overpowered by indifference. So nothing shows on my face.

As for my own thoughts, well those were based on theirs. Or maybe they are mine.

Ambrosia/Risu: "Are you okay?" They both ask concerned.

Fate: "Ah yeah, I'm fine" I reassure them with a smile.

We walk to one of the receptionists. What luck, she was an elf. She even seemed familiar.

Ocean blue eyes and light blond hair...oh, I see.

???: "Hello, my name is Lisa. What can I do for you today?" she says in a very bright manner.

I chuckle.

Lisa: "What's so funny?" She says with a head tilt.

Fate: "Sorry, I'm just enjoying your enthusiasm, you must be very popular with that kind of attitude." Her enthusiasm wasn't forced either, she was really happy to be here. I understood why as well.

I feel several eyes filled with jealousy bore into my back and two were directed at Lisa.

Lisa blushes and is about to speak until a trio of people walk through the entrance. Everyone turns to them and the guy in front grabs my shoulder.
