Fate POV

Because the dinner table is so incredibly long we all take a seat at one end of the table, the end nearest to the door me and Shelia came through. Even Risu, who was convinced by the other two to not sit in my lap.

I was seated at the head with Ambrosia and Irene to my left and right. A pouting Risu was seated beside Ambrosia.

Risu: "I still do not see the problem with sitting in his lap."

Ambrosia: "It is simply impolite to not sit in a proper seat when at the dinner table." She says with a fake high class lady voice.

Irene: "What she said." She shrug.

Fate: "You know, I wouldn't really mind." I add.

Risu's face lights up while the other two give me a death glare. I smile and put my hands up in surrender.

Fate: "Sorry Risu, looks like I'm out numbered." I chuckle.

Risu begins to sulk while the two other girls have a satisfied look on their faces. Their faces only brighten when the door opens and Sheila begins rolling a large cart through.

Sheila: "Rejoice, for you my dear master and Co get the chance to partake in the best meal you have ever had. All made by this wonderful maid." She says flatly yet boastfully.

Irene: "We'll see about that." She says with her arms crossed.

Ever before Sheila lays out the food we can already smell the delicious aroma of top class delicacies that sits on the tray.

Both Ambrosia and Risu have their eyes glued to the tray as I see their mouths begin to water.  I can even see Irene forcing herself to not look impressed.

Sheila stops the cart next to me and swiftly begins setting the table by sliding the plates, utensils, and glasses with extreme precision in front of us.

Fate: "Can you place another set next to Ambrosia?" I ask as I notice Risu not receiving a set.

Sheila: "And why would I waste my precious time on something as pointless as that?" She asks turning to me with a flat look.

Fate: "Because I asked?"

Sheila stares at me blankly for a moment before doing as I asked and giving Risu her plates and other things.

Sheila: "How could such an immaculate maid such as myself get stuck with such a strange master." She sighs.

Ambrosia: "Is she always like this?" She asks me.

Sheila: "Honesty is my greatest virtue." She chimes in.

Irene: "Are you sure it isn't pride?" She huffs.

Sheila doesn't respond as she starts setting the food.

Fate: "Aren't you gonna join us?" I ask as I see she hasn't set a plate for herself.

The maid halts what she was doing, which was setting the first tray of food, which in turn makes Ambrosia start to sulk, and Sheila looks at me strangely.

Sheila: "And why would I do that?" She asks as if the answer was obvious.

Fate: "Do you not eat with a plate, spoon, and fork?" I ask in the same manner.

She stands up a bit straighter before saying,

Sheila: "Unlike you, I am well aware and capable of serving myself the food that I make."  She says in her condescending voice as she resumes placing the tray down.

Fate: "Yes yes, but you still haven't answered my first question." I chuckle.

As Ambrosia's face begins to light up, Sheila lifts up the tray once more. I could tell that the waiting was killing Ambrosia.
