Here I am. In a room, or should I say space of pure white? And there's a girl crying in front of me. How did I get here exactly? Hmm...let me think.

Hours before?
Protagonist POV

As I walk I stretch my arms and yawn.

???: "Hah... I shouldn't have stayed up so late last night. At least it's nice out today." I say taking a look up at the sky.

???: "Yup a nice day indeed."

???: "Heeeeeey! Kazuki!"

I turn around to see my good friend Akira running my way.

Kazuki: "Oh, good morning Akira." I greet him with a smile.

He catches up to me and we start walking side by side. Walking to school is always more enjoyable with a friend beside me.

Akira: "You look tired, did you sleep late last night?" He chuckles knowing the answer.

Kazuki: "Yeah." I admit with a sigh. "But I'll be fine." I smile.

Akira: "I bet you stayed up grinding out Text of Duty." He grins.

Kazuki: "Yup, just unlocked light matter last night" I say acting like it's no big deal. It's definitely not worth it to stay up that late but what's done is done.

I'll just regret it when the next game comes out and I have to do it all over again.

Akira: "Show off." He scoffs with a chuckle.

But for now, I'm gonna run it in his face.

With some laughs along the way, we continue our walk to school. Just like every other day.

We arrive at school and we head into our classroom. I get into my seat which is located in the typical protagonist area. The back corner of the class next to a window. But that's just an anime cliché, it doesn't really mean anything now does it.
