~AU👁👄👁

Yeonhee has been avoiding everyone like the plague. She resented the faces of the familiar and ignored the ones that she didn't remember. Mingyus been constantly calling her, and after his harsh words, she didn't want to speak to him. His voice pissed her off, his name irritated her immensely. She hated that she liked him, and she hated it even more that she told him. Yeonhee knew she was never going to be you, not in his eyes, not in anyone's. Still she craved for a man whose heart belonged to another. The vibration in her pocket slapped against her skin, rolling her eyes she pulled the metal device out of her pocket. She read the number recognizing it immediately. This has been the thirtieth call today. She's been ignoring everyone for a month already. She decided to go to his contacts, blocking the number and putting the phone in her pocket once again.

Her heels clicked with the ground, whipping her curls to dangle to the back of her head. Yeonhee was currently at a bar. They had had a large variety of liquor, which she was happy about because she felt the need to drink. She tapped her fingers against the bar, catching the bar tenders attention. Her eyes widened immediately, it was Soonyoung. She stood up from her chair, glancing around quickly. She knew who Soonyoung was. She met him before, in which he told her that he and Mingyu are coworkers in multiple jobs. She wondered if this was also a place Mingyu worked at. "Is Mingyu here?"

"Yeah, he's in back on break. If you want I can call him for you—"

Yeonhee lifted her hands, shaking her head. She wanted to leave. She picked up her bag, turning around to leave. It wasn't until the large muscular male pulled back the curtain, exposing himself to the sweaty girl. She has sweat dripping from her temples and under arm. "Yeonhee, wait!"

She stormed away, pushing the bar door open. Her thighs met with the cold gust of wind. Making goosebumps trail her body. She hugged her coat around her small petite frame. Mingyu continued to call for her, yet it went through one ear and came out the other. She wasn't interested in chatting with him, Not yet at least.

"I'm sorry Yeonhee!" Yeonhee stopped, pushing her top row of teeth against her bottom one. Mingyu sighed, letting his fingers wrestle in his messy hair. "I shouldn't have said those things to you that day..."

"It's fine." Yeonhee mumbled, wiping her face that seemed to be aching now. Her eyes filling with crystals begging to fall. "You shouldn't have said it, but I know you meant it."

     "That's not—"

"It's true!" Yeonhee shouted, turning around facing the heartbroken Mingyu. She knew what this was about. She had a feeling you found out, because randomly she kept receiving calls from you. Calls she didn't answer because she knew you would apologize for something he said. "I'm never going to be her, Mingyu. So don't even deny it."

Mingyu groaned, running his hands through his hair once again. Yeonhee noticed that it's become a habit of his. "I'm trying to get over her... it's not easy." Mingyu chuckled lowly, covering his face with his hands, pushing his fingers against his eyelids. He was in pain. He felt this lingering attachment to you, but for some reason he felt more pain thinking about what he said to Yeonhee. "I'm no saint. I make mistakes and—... and my mistake was falling for her. I'm trying, I'm really trying to get over her Yeonhee. But it takes time."

She knew what he meant. They were both heartbroken. She's been avoiding him for a month, and she still hurting from his words. Even though he denied any meaning behind them, she knew other wise. Heartbreak is a disease that can only heal with time. Yeonhee knew that what she felt for Mingyu was real. It wasn't some side hustle, she knew that Mingyu was capable of being a long run. "...I'll wait. I'll wait for you."

She knew it takes time to get over someone. She was able to wait for Mingyu, she was determined to patiently wait for him to get over you. You, who was also suffering from the same thing.

You laid in bed. Staring at the ceiling, a bunch of scenarios running through your head. Outfit ideas, school assignments, and the boxes in your room. You were packing. You found an apartment to live in, you didn't want to live with your parents forever, and with the help of your brother, he found you an apartment close to his house, the only issue was it was in busan. You failed to notice the loud doorbell that rung out through the entire house. You wondered if that was your parents, after all you were the only one home. You sat up from your sprawled position, jogging down the stairs pulling the door open. Brown eyes staring into yours, their hair dangling in front of his eyes. Yoon Jeonghan stood before you, gulping. He glanced around the exterior of the house. "I, uh, didn't know you were going to be here."

You nodded your head, pulling the door wider, inviting him into the house. You weren't ready to face him yet. Your heartbeat quickened and your hands were trembling. "Your parents aren't here. They're on a business trip."

You answered, clutching on tightly to the door knob, leaving the door open. You hurried your face in the wood, not daring to meet Jeonghan eyes that bore into your skin. "I know, I'm not here to meet them... I came to see you."

Your eyebrows furrowed staring up at him. You weren't sure of what to do still. You were busy, and were preoccupied with things to even make up your decision about Jeonghan. "I just need to do this."

Jeonghan strutted towards you, shutting the door with his hands that soon went to cup your face. He pulled you closer towards him, his eyes darting towards your pink lips. Your breathing turned rigid, impatiently waiting for him to kiss you. And so he did. He slammed his lips against yours, teeth bashing against each other. The kiss was filled with ever emotion possible. His kiss was a drug you were addicted too. A kiss you needed rehab. You noticed the longer your with him, the more you become addicted.
