𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙖 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙗𝙮𝙚

"Look at all the monsters down there..." Carla said.

"And they're headed straight for Marguerite!" Kuschel exclaimed.
"We'll just have to trust the rest of your guild to hold them off." you spoke to Wendy and Chelia.
"Natsu and Lucy are there to help, too." Wendy said.

"Our job is to take down Orochi's wizards... especially the beast master!" Carla added.

"I'm sorry about this, Happy." Chelia apologised.
"It's alright. You're pretty light." Happy said.
"That isn't what I meant..." she said. "I just have to protect the town myself!"

"Chelia..." Wendy frowned.
"I see them! Down there!" you interjected into their seemingly pally conversation.

On count, Carla, Happy and Kuschel let go of you, Wendy and Chelia and dropped down onto the Orochi Fin wizards.

"Sky Dragon's Roar!"
"Sound Dragon's Roar!"
"Sky God's Bellow!"

In a swirl of wind and white noise, many of the wizards were knocked aside.

"Can't you handle three little girls?! What's wrong with you?!" one yelled.
"I'm no little girl." you growled, grinning. "Sound Dragon's Crushing Fang!"

In one fell swoop, you hooked your arm and sent a few opponents flying.

"I'll take down the beast master!" Chelia flew forwards, surprising you and seemingly Wendy too.
"Chelia, you're getting too far ahead of us!" Wendy yelled.

"I'm going to stop that horde of monsters!" Chelia cried back determinedly, slashing through creature after creature with her Sky God Slayer Magic.

A ball of light flew towards the pink-haired girl, but you reacted fast enough to yank her aside, albeit to the ground.

The ground suddenly cracked beneath your feet, and you fell on your front upon the now unstable terrain. Kuschel clutched onto Carla, both of whom had fallen too.

A man with long hair in a ponytail stood over us.
"It's Bluenote Stinger!" Carla cried. I had no idea who that was.

"I can't... I can't move!" Kuschel gasped out.
"Kuschel!" you yelled.

"There is no-one who can move under my gravity." Bluenote said.

"Why is he here?!" Happy cried. You had no idea who he was, yet it seemed to put Wendy, Carla and Happy in immense distress.

"First..." Bluenote started. The ground shattered beneath Chelia and she almost began free-falling. Wendy screamed her name, when suddenly, a familiar scent burnt into your nostrils. You internally celebrated, but also died a little bit.

"Got you!"

"Natsu!" Happy and Wendy exclaimed.
"How is he doing that?!" an Orochi Fin wizard gasped.

"You pulled a fast one, stealing Happy like that!" Natsu hissed.
"I'm sorry..." Chelia sighed.

"Natsu! Now is not the time for that!" Carla chided.
"That man is here!" Wendy called. "The one who overwhelmed us on Tenrou Island!"
"Bluenote!" Happy finished.

"Huh?" Natsu blinked while Bluenote stared, wide-eyed. "Doesn't ring a bell."

All of a sudden, Bluenote flew at Natsu and Chelia, yet the pink-haired man managed to dodge in time.

"Nobody's gettin' crushed!" he yelled.

"He's using fire to lift up the ground, impossible!" a few random Orochi wizards gasped.

"Fairy Tail will never be crushed!" Natsu shrieked. You remembered the last time you had seen him display this level of fury, when you and him had stormed Sabertooth's in last year and fought against their previous master, Jiemma.

"This one... can... fly." Bluenote wheezed out, whilst Natsu enveloped him in a dome of flame. Once the fire dissipated, Bluenote lay collapsed.

"One-shot?!" Carla exclaimed.

"Listen! Do you know how bad kidnapping is?!" Natsu held Chelia up, who squeaked.
"You say that as if you didn't suggest kidnapping Wendy and I!" you yelled.

"Natsu, before you scold her, you may want to look around you. There are more enemies." Carla said.

"We give up. White flag. Surrender." their 'leader' said, sweating immensely.

"Pff, look at him cry!" you cackled, helping Kuschel to her feet.

// Time Skip //

You went to retrieve Wendy from Lamia Scale, once she had made up her mind to reform Fairy Tail with Natsu and Lucy.

"Thank you so much for everything you've done for me! I really don't know what to say... I'm sorry I've been so selfish!" Wendy sobbed.
"Don't apologise. This was always our agreement." Lyon said.

"Is that right?!" Natsu exclaimed.

"Yeah, I made sure they knew that we'd only be staying until Fairy Tail was revived." Carla said coolly.
"But..." Wendy snivelled.
"That's enough of that. Chin up!" her partner said firmly.

"You're such a crybaby, Wendy!" Chelia giggled playfully.
"I can't help it!" the Sky Dragon Slayer's voice trembled.

"Don't worry, Wendy! I'll take you place in the Sky Sisters!" Toby cried.
"Not if we can help it." Yuka shook his head.
"Is that my cue?" Ooba asked.
"That goes double for you, master." Yuka continued to shake his head.

"Good luck getting Fairy Tail back together!" Lamia Scale shouted. "Take care! Say hi to Gray for me!"

"Look after yourself, Wendy!" Chelia waved.
"I will! You too, Chelia!" Wendy called tearfully.

You departed, walking away from the street.

"Are you finished, Wendy?" Carla asked of her partner's crying.
"B-but... when Fairy Tail disbanded... Lamia Scale took me in... they've all been so kind to me..." Wendy snivelled. "And now I've finally been reunited with Happy, Kuschel, Lucy, and Natsu and [Y/N]..."

She began to sob uncontrollably again.
"This is just the beginning! We're gonna get everybody together again!" Natsu grinned over his shoulder.
"Yeah!" Wendy nodded wetly.

"Natsu, you know I'm not rejoining Fairy Tail, don't you?" you said. The Fire Dragon Slayer stopped in his tracks, turning to you.
"What?" he replied, eyes wide.
"I'm not rejoining Fairy Tail." you repeated. "As much as I love you guys, and as much as Fairy Tail was my home, I've moved on. Sabertooth is my home now."

"[Y/N], you joined Sabertooth?" Wendy sniffled.
"Yeah." you confirmed.
"Because [Y/N] loooooooves Rogue!" Kuschel giggled. You smiled at the ground bashfully and nodded.
"Yeah..." you sighed.

That made everybody stop and turn to you.
"Wait, what?" Lucy gasped.
"You... and Rogue?!" Wendy exclaimed, face flushing red.
"Yeah." you repeated. "Me and Rogue."

"Wait, you're- you're official?!" Lucy shrieked.
"We have been for, like, six months? Get with it, Luce." you grinned.
"You're dating him?!" Natsu yelled, outraged. "No! Why, why, why, oh why?!"

"Natsu? Are you alright?" Lucy asked.
"No! [Y/N], our [Y/N], and Rogue! Rogue!" he exclaimed.
"It just sort of happened, Natsu! You can't blame me!" you defended with a wide grin. He folded his arms and pouted like a child.
"Hmph... only cause it makes you happy. If he hurts you, I'm gathering the boys and we're going Cheney-hunting. Again." Natsu growled.
