You began to walk back to Sabertooth's guildhall with Rogue, Minerva and Frosch once you were sure Natsu and co. had left.

"What was that all about?" Minerva said. "[Y/N], my dear. You're in tears."

You wiped your eyes again.
"It's fine. Don't worry." you sighed.

"I am utterly baffled at what that Natsu wanted..." the woman said.
"Fro thinks so too!" Frosch agreed.

"He just wanted to talk." you murmured. Rogue took your hand in his, squeezing gently.

You re-entered the guild to see Sting, Yukino, Lector and Yukino's Celestial Spirit, Libra, all staring. Sting had certainly slimmed down now, which you suspected Libra was to blame for.

"Oh, [Y/N]!" Yukino rushed forwards. "What's happened?"
"Natsu happened." Rogue commented.

"Natsu?!" Sting said. "What'd he do?"

You inhaled sharply.
"You guys remember... how I was supposed to die?"

Sting's eyes widened.
"Huh? But- I thought we changed that!" he exclaimed.

"We did." you nodded. "But... oh, I don't think I'm supposed to tell you this..."
"You can tell us, [Y/N]!" Lector said.

"Fine... you remember what happened at the Grand Magic Games with Future Rogue, I take it?" you spoke. "He was... that way... because Frosch dies."

You felt Rogue's grip around your hand tighten, yet continued.

"That's... that's why Natsu took that commission. 'Cause Frosch dies, but... if I had gone with Natsu, that would have been me. " you finished explaining.

"You're saying... that if I had gone on that job just now... I would've come back... as him?" Rogue said slowly.

"Evidently so." Minerva said.
"Sorry... I just got a bit overwhelmed." you spoke.

"It's okay, [Y/N]. I would have reacted the same if I was faced with that situation." Yukino smiled apologetically. "But... you aren't going back to Fairy Tail, are you?..."

Sting's jaw dropped open.
"You're going back to Fairy Tail?!" he repeated.
"They're reviving their guild." Yukino tacked on.
"We're going back to Fairy Tail?!" Kuschel gasped.

"No! I'm not going back to Fairy Tail." you exclaimed. "I don't want to go back."
"But... what about Happy? And Carla, and Lily?" Kuschel asked. "Won't you miss them?"

"Kuschel, of course I miss them. But Fairy Tail's not our home anymore, yeah?" you said. "this is our home. It has been for a year."

"I guess so..." she mumbled.
