// Third P.O.V. //

Natsu, Lucy, [Y/N], Wendy, Happy, Kuschel and Carla found themselves wandering into the pouring rain.

"Impressive how the rain falls only on the village." Lucy stated.
"It's very suspicious." Wendy said.

The ex-guild-mates wandered into the village, getting soaked to the bone immediately.

"I don't think anybody's home." Lucy said.
"Nobody seems to be living here at all." Wendy added.

"No!" you shook your head. "Juvia is!"
"I can smell her too!" Natsu agreed. "This way!"

And there she was. Juvia, the Rain Woman herself, sat alone on a bench.

"Hey! Juvia!" Natsu called, waving an arm above his head. Juvia glanced up, her face flushed.

"My darling Gray!" she gasped, running towards Natsu. "Juvia... Juvia..."

"Keep your hands to yourself." Natsu stopped her from bear-hugging him. "Yo! How have you been?"
"I'm relieved that you're still so hyper!" Lucy nodded with a smile.
"Long time, no see, Juvia!" [Y/N] mopped some hair from her face.

"Natsu... Lucy, Wendy and [Y/N] too..." Juvia said.

"Don't forget about us!" Happy said indignantly.
"What are you doing living here all by yourself?" Carla asked.

Juvia's brow furrowed and she teared up, before falling to the side. Natsu caught her.
"Hey, what's wrong?!" he exclaimed.
"Juvia!" Lucy cried.

Natsu and co. brought her into one of the houses, the one Natsu had declared as Juvia's from the scent, tucking her into bed.

"She has a really high fever." Wendy said.
"Well, anyone would get sick from sitting in the rain for so long." [Y/N] shrugged.

"Is this really Juvia's house?" Lucy asked, looking around.
"Yeah..." Natsu nodded. "There are hints of Gray's smell here too."

[Y/N]'s stomach and mood plummeted at the mention of the Ice-Make mage's name. Gray. Gray. All the memories of the commission six months ago came flooding back - Aarya, Lelouch, Vivienne, Novalee, Kai, Takeshi - how it had all been a hoax. How she had- she had—

Kuschel grabbed her hand reassuringly and [Y/N] tried to calm herself whilst Juvia spoke in rough pants.

"Juvia lived here... together with Gray... just the two of us!" she said. "We ate together... we trained together... we did jobs together... and in this very bed..."

Wendy flushed. "We don't need the details!"

"Juvia tried to sleep with him, but was kicked out." Juvia finished. "Juvia was so happy... but then, one day...

She trailed off into thought for a moment.

"After that day, he started going off on his own more often... then, half a year ago, he stopped coming home at all..." Juvia sighed sadly.
"You're kidding..." Wendy said.
"That jerk... leaving without a word." Natsu growled.
"Like you can talk." Lucy narrowed her eyes.

"I left you a note telling you about our demise!" Natsu exclaimed.
"You mean departure." Happy corrected.

"That's hardly any better. Did you ever stop to think about the people you left behind?" Lucy said. "About how we might feel?..."
