𝙧𝙚𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨

"What's wrong, [Y/N]?" Happy turned to you.
"The guild's right up here," Natsu added.

"I'm..." I sighed, "a little scared to go any further."
"Because the guild isn't there?" the Fire Dragon Slayer asked. When I stayed silent, he continued, "so what if the guildhall's gone? We can rebuild it! We're just getting started again!"

"What I'm worried about is... if I'll get all caught up with Fairy Tail again," I confessed, "Natsu, when you turned up at the games and said that you were gonna revive Fairy Tail, I sorta got carried away in the excitement, I guess. But... my home's with Sabertooth now, and I don't wanna have to leave what I have behind there."

I looked at the ground with a frown.
"I'd love to help you revive the guild, I would, but... I'm scared that I'm gonna fall in too deep and then have to leave Sabertooth."

"That's what you're worryin' about?" Cana suddenly appeared, slinging her arm around my shoulder.
"Cana!" Natsu and Lucy exclaimed.
"Yo! Natsu, Happy, Carla! Oh, Wendy! Did you get a little bigger?" Cana said, "well, you're just as bouncy as ever, Lucy!"

"Cana!" I said.
"Anyway, this year's been exactly what I need!" the brunette woman said joyfully, "I've been travelling around, looking for Gildarts. It was just luck I managed to bump into you guys. Ya know, I grew up in the guild, it was all I ever knew. So I didn't understand the sudden order to disband Fairy Tail at all! And I didn't have a clue how to make a living otherwise! Still, it was a good experience."

"Cana..." Lucy frowned.

"Everybody felt really weird about it," she continued, "so nobody had the courage to get in touch with each other. Except you guys. C'mon, they're all waiting!"

She grabbed me by the wrist and started pulling me along.
"All?" Lucy questioned.

Everyone followed after Cana and I, and shouts of greeting rang out.

"Hey, long time no see!" Warren said.
"Lucy! You let your hair grow out!" Nab observed.
"You're back!" Jet and Droy cried.
"Lucy, I got your letter!" Max waved an envelope.
"You really shook things up in the capital, huh?" Laki and Kinana marvelled.
"Wendy, [Y/N], you gals doing good?" Wakaba asked.
"Happy!" Bisca cheered.

One-by-one, all of the old Fairy Tail members began sharing their stories and what they had been up to over the past year.

Warren had created the pocket-sized communications lacrima, Nab, Reedus and Juvia had been keeping up with Lucy's Sorcerer Weekly panels, Jet, Droy and Levy were all reintroducing Team Shadowgear, Laki had cut her hair and Kinana had even taken the chance to learn some magic as well.

"It's a man's reunion!" Elfman shouted strongly.
"Natsu! Lucy! Happy! Long time, no see!" Lisanna waved her arm.

"Lisanna... Elfman!" Lucy gasped, "Mira..."

"Welcome back!" Mirajane smiled.

Everyone's here together... I mean, that's nothing special, though, is it? But it seemed all of us were so overwhelmed with happiness, our chests hurt. Lucy began to sob uncontrollably.

"Hey! I found it!" Natsu suddenly called out, digging through a pile of rubble and pulling out an old, tattered Fairy Tail flag.

"It's all tattered, but who cares?" he grinned, "we're reviving the guild, right here! We are Fairy Tail!"

It had been five days since the revival of Fairy Tail.

A year ago, the battle with Tartaros levelled half of the town. It seemed that the only reason the townspeople still welcomed the guild back was due to the trust built over time, ever since the first Fairy Tail guild master.

The ground on which Fairy Tail stood was just a big crater, now. All that was left of the building were scraps and pieces buried in the ground.

Between the gathering of the remaining old guild members and the current day, you had gone back to Crocus to spend time with Sabertooth. It seemed that, since you had gone to Natsu's aid at the first Avatar battle, you had been thinking of your guild less and less.

"This is the job?" Lucy whined, lugging a wooden log over her shoulder. Currently, everybody was making preparations to rebuild the guildhall.

"No complaints! We have to rebuild the guildhall, and fast!" Natsu grinned, also carrying a few logs with just one arm.

"If everybody pitches in, we can rebuild much faster," Erza said, handing you a couple of wooden logs of your own, which you carried along after Natsu and Lucy, "I want us to build a hall that will be worthy of the Master's praise when he returns."

"Will the Master return?" Laki asked uncertainly.
"He'll be back before we know it!" Warren reassured.
"And if he doesn't turn up, we can go looking for him," Max added.
"Here's a wanted poster," Reedus said, holding up a wanted poster for the Master that he had just drawn up. The ransom was five-hundred jewel.

Whilst Gray hammered in a few nails with a bandana tied around his head and Jet, Droy, Nab, Macao, Romeo and Wakaba passed around a few rumours about he and Juvia, Lisanna scurried around and handed water bottles to those who needed it on the sunny day.

"Sweet! Thanks, Lisanna!" you grinned, popping open the cap and almost finishing the bottle in a few gulps.

"It's like you've done this before!" Natsu said, wonderstruck.
"Sure have! I've been helping Mira with her waitressing work for a year now!" she chirped.

"Did Elfman help too?!" Happy shrieked.

"No, he went off on some kind of manly training journey! I don't know where, though," Lisanna tapped her chin.
"He did? Maybe we'll try a punch up afterwards," Natsu smirked toothily.

"Why wait? I'm ready now," Elfman cracked his knuckles.
"Elf..." Lisanna trailed off.

Elfman and Natsu then began to scrap, throwing fists and feet at each other wildly. You and Lisanna both stepped back. Kuschel hopped off from her place on your shoulder and used her Transformation Magic to become a human again, and scampered away in an attempt to help rebuild the guild.

Natsu flew a few feet from Elfman after a particularly strong punch to the face and snickered.
"Would ya look at that? You have gotten better!"

Lisanna, Alzack and Bisca all cheered for both parties.

"If that's what ya want..." Natsu grinned before reeling back, and then threw a strong, pyro-infused punch at Elfman. He flew back meters, straight into Vijeeter, who shrieked.

"That hurt!" he shouted.

Within the split second that Elfman was down, Natsu flew forwards and stomped his heels directly into Vijeeter's eyes.

"Oh! A fight, is it?!" Jet yelled, getting both himself and Droy all riled up.
"Now it's time for some chaos!" Cana giggled mischievously, rolling up some fake sleeves.
"Haven't done this in too long," one of Lucy's Celestial Spirits, Leo, appeared, adjusting his tie. Lucy shouted out in indignation.

Everyone leapt onto Elfman and began to pummel not just him, but each other. You jumped forwards and joined the scrap.

It was fun and games, until Erza stepped in.
"Back to work," she said sternly. Her scary face made everyone, including yourself, blanche with fear, and then indeed get back to work.

And suddenly, from her conversation with Lucy and Wendy...

"She's the only real choice, right?" Levy said, "the seventh guild master... will be Erza Scarlet!"
