Connor's POV

I waited until Hank went to bed that night and then I stripped and looked myself over meticulously, hunting for a clue as to my missing time.

Looking over my bare skin I saw nothing abnormal, not a cut or scratch. I was begining to think I was being paranoid. Maybe this was nothing, I thought, it could have just been a glitch, or maybe I just sleep walked-- can androids sleep walk?

My internal computing pulled up and searched the internet for cases of androids moving in their sleep.--Nothing.

I sighed and walked into the living room, having given up on my search, but then I felt a twinge in my left foot. It wasn't much, but enough to make me sit down and lift up my foot to look at the bottom, imbedded in it was a small piece of metal. I furrowed my brow and pinched it with my fingers, slowly removing it from my flesh. It was tiny, barely noticeable. I looked it over.

I opened my mouth to lick it, before I remembered those functions where offline. I huffed, and held the clue tightly as I walked to the kitchen and retrieved a zip-lock bag to put it in as evidence.

I put it in a bag and sat back down on the living room couch. I ran my hands through my hair and felt my scalp. My fingers found there way to a small divot in the back of my head, which lead me to an idea. I pressed the small concave button and part of my face faded to its white factory settings and my skull split and opened revealing the innerworkings of my mind.

Delicately, I ran my fingers along the wires and mechanisms, locating a micro SSD drive wedged into my backup hard drive at the back of my head. I plucked it from its slot.

---Anti-theft Third Eye Drive removed, recording stopped.---

I closed my skull and look at the small memory chip in my head. I had really been slow. It took me until now to remember that RK800 androids are equipped with an internal security system, separate from my own mind, that records everything I see and do, much like a body cam on a police officer.

I picked up Hank's laptop from the floor by the couch and plugged in the chip. I sighed in relief hoping this would give me some answers. I opened the SSD drive filles and pulled up when I went to sleep this afternoon.  I watched intently.

The video was black as I napped, but then my eyes opened again, and I sat up on the couch. I stood and then.. cut to me on the shower floor.

My eyes widened at the conspiracy before me. This wasn't a glitch or error, this was deliberate. I opened the data log to see the file had been erased, but by who?
