-Hank's POV-
The dramatic shift in mood caused my stomach to knot as I simply stood looking out at the room infront of me.

The sunlight from the window shone down upon 3 mangled corpses, one of which was human, the other two were androids, mechanical parts were stung about, and blue blood splattered the walls and red ran in a large puddle on underneath the pale body of a young man, who looked as though he had been gutted.

Connor walked in his eyes wide. "Th-this just happened, Lieutenant." He turned back to me looking at my face his LED switching to yellow as he reported it, calling for backup.

It was as if you could feel the recent death seeping into the room. Like a vile smell, the smell of death. Sharp and metallic it swelled into the space. It made me think Connor was lucky he can't smell.

A small noise and a speck of movement from one of the mangled corpses stole our attention quickly. Connor ran over to her, falling to his knees beside a android woman who was missing both legs and part of her torso.

-Connors POV-
I ran to the woman, my internal sever calling the emergency services and an android repair ambulance was on its way.

"H-hhelp." Her voice had a mechanical ring as an undertone, as her hard drives had begun to fail.

"Hey, hey! Hold on. Hold on, I've called for help. Help is on the way." I held her,and spoke in an attempt to comfort the dying and distressed android in my arms. My hands shifted to white as I scanned her: biocomponent #9782f- critical failure, shut down imminent- 20 seconds.

"Tell.. tell Sarah I- I love her...I-it doesn't matter, what I said.. I always loved h-her.." her voice faded away and she shut her eyes.

"No! No no! Hold on. Hold on for me ok! Your gonna-" My words stopped, she was gone. Her body went stiff and lifeless. My head hung a moment feeling a wave of emotions run through my code.

-Hank's POV-
I stood there watching the scene folding out infront of me, knowing there was nothing I could do. The girl shut down and Connor hung his head over her taking a moment before looking up to me.

I simply looked back at the hurt in his eyes, staring in wonder that such a human thing was ever considered less than because it was made of code.

Connor stood to his feet slowly his pants soaked in blue blood. He looked back at her for a second more. Then stepped toward me a sudden anger clouding his eyes.

"The killer is still here." He spoke with clenched jaw. His brown eyes landing upon my face again. "We have to make this right!!" He said looking over the whole murder scene quickly scanning every inch to see where to go. "We have to find him."

"Alright. We will." I reassured him, looking at the serval doors that leave the space.

"There. Red blood. There are three bodies, but there was a second human with them see? He must be injured." I turn and see a white door with a smear of red blood by the handle, though the only human body lay across the room.

I nod. He headed quickly for the door, and I followed. He paused at the door and pulled his gun from its holster as moving to the wall by right of the door. I did the same moving to the left side.

"Behind me." Connor whispered, though I was going to tell him the same.

"Carful." I warn.

Connor reached for the handle and pushed the door open silently, it opens. Inside, we see a densely packed server room, with large columns of black  computer hard drives and servers. I do not see anyone inside.

Connor slipped into the room quietly, ducking behind one of the columns. I followed quickly, moving behind a column to the left. The dead silence of the room was then shattered by a loud slam and a cry of pain. The injured human is thrown to the ground by a unseeable attacker. I watch carefully; through the gap in between the pillars, looking for our opportunity to strike.

"Now. Tell me what I need to know! Or I will force it out of you fucking deviant helper!!" Connor yelled.

Extremely confused I turn to Connor concerned, but I find his eyes meeting mine with a face mirroring my own.

"Please! Please I'm telling you! There is only us! Only us!!" The man pleaded on his knees.

Without any warning a gunshot rang out through the room and the victim fell back spraying the room in blood.

My eyes widen looking back to Connor, he looked afraid and still confused.

"Well. Then you are no longer needed," Connors voice spoke again and the killer stepped forward into my line of sight.

Of all the things I thought I would see..Connor- Another, a different Connor stood over the dead mans limp body. He was not my Connor! Though the similarities were uncanny.

This Connor, this killer, was taller than my Connor and wore a old android uniform that had a collar that stuck up covering his neck. It was white, stained with blood, but underneath the red and blue was written a name: RK900.
