so before i start this chapter, i just wanted to apologize for the lack of fluff in this book😅 this is mainly a smut book but i'll try to incorporate more fluff chapters on here. :)

The Valentines Day Dance was a really important event at JYP Academy.

It was that one time of the year where everyone was scrambling to find dates to go with and where people were confessing to each other. Promposals and everything.

Valentines Day also just so happened to be Tzuyu's favorite holiday, and for many reason.

Tzuyu had recently gained popularity at her school just for being the sweetest, most helpful person ever. As a result of that, you could probably guess she was DEFINITELY a target for the dance.

People were doing a lot of things to get Tzuyu's attention; from doing her homework, buying her chocolates and flowers, opening doors when she walked in, and more. There were even people that went out of their way with ideas to ask the girl to the dance.

Unfortunately, Tzuyu had rejected them all, because she didn't believe that they were the right person that she would want to go to the dance with. It came to find out later that she only had eyes for one girl-- Mina.

Although a very sweet and pretty girl, Mina was pretty shy and soft-spoken. When she heard about the dance, she at-first didn't want to go because she didn't think anyone would ask her to go, and she didn't ask anyone to go with her because she was too scared of being rejected in front of the whole school.

However, something would happen later that would change her high school life forever.

Back to the present. Mina was walking down the hallway and to her locker with her friend Nayeon, and just as she was about to grab her stuff, she noticed a purple envelope taped to her locker door.

MN (to herself): "Hmm? W-what's this..?"

NY: "What is it, Mina?"

MN: "Oh! Uh... i-it's nothing.... someone just put this on my locker.."

Mina extended her arm and showed the purple envelope to Nayeon. Nayeon carefully looked at the envelope.

NY: "Hmm... looks like a letter. Why don't you open it?"

MN: "Nah... seems like a prank to me. It's probably one of those stupid jocks asking me to the dance as a joke."

NY: *smiles* "Hmm? Do jocks put hearts and cursive writing with their letters, huh?"

MN: "Heh.. guess not. Okay, I guess I'll open it and see what it says."

Mina slowly opens the envelope and pulls out the letter, and she begins to read what the letter says.

"Hello! You may not know who I am, but I was wondering if you could meet me in the school parking lot after classes are over? I really have something to tell you. Just trust me, okay? - XOXO, your secret admirer"

Mina was shocked. After she had thought no one would ever like her, she finds out that she has a secret admirer?

MN: "A secret... admirer..? What..? This can't be, though. Not many people know me that well."

NY: "Hmm.. well I guess today's your lucky day then. I think you should go see who wrote that letter."

Mina was tempted, but at the same time, all of the negatives of the situation were still floating in her head. What if it's a prank set up by the jocks? What if she gets ghosted? What if the person who wrote the letter is only asking her because they felt sorry for her?
