hey y'all! first i wanted to say sorry for not updating for like 5000 years😭i was dealing with... um... life!! yeah. life happened and as you know, i lost that precious update time💔yeah ik it's pretty sad😔

but NEVER FEAR!! i am back, and i've got y'all covered!! i may update slowly, but i will never not continue this book, that's for sure☝🏾

|| NAYEON'S APARTMENT, 12:30pm ||

"Ugh... if x squared to the power of 1 plus a equals b, then... gosh, I fucking HATE questions with letters. Skip!" I said to myself as I flipped the pages.

NY: *deep breath* "Okay, let's try this one."

"If cos60 = 1/2, then cos300 = ?"

NY: "GAHH!! I HATE sin, cos, and tan type questions!! SKIP!!"

"2sinxcosx= ? "

"Holy shit. I just might lose it." I thought.

Do you guys seriously think I'm kidding?! These stupid math problems are starting to make me question why I even considered going to college.

This is great, just great... I struggled with math all my life up until my senior year of high school, then I come crawling to my teacher during the last month of school to get some "extra credit". I really am a desperate person. Hell, I don't think I even deserve that "Most Improved in Math" award that I got from Principal Park.

Then, after two and a half months of chilling with my friends and traveling for the summer... BOOM!! College placement tests and tons of shit for me to fill out. God, it's only been a week since I started college and I already wanna drop this class.

*sigh*

Well, maybe it's not all too bad... right? After all, if it wasn't for Mrs. Yoo-- eh, I mean Jeongyeon... I WOULD be repeating my senior year....

Ugh, she is such a lifesaver... I know she hated me the whole year because I never paid attention, but the fact that she was able to let me have the extra credit I need to finally pass math. She is so amazing... I'm so glad I got her number so we could keep in contact... I'm missing her already, I really wish she were here to... y'know, help me with some things...

Ugh... come on, Nayeon, what are you doing? You have to finish these math problems. They're due by Friday! I'm in college now, I can't afford any failing grades.

Okay, back to these questions... oh, here's an easy one that I can't skip!

"One solution of the equation x2 + 7x - 2 = 0 is..."

NY: "Let's see, I can take 7x and..."

**DING DONG!!**

NY: "Hm, I wonder who that is?"

I put my pencil down and walked to my front door to unlock it and see who was there. To my surprise...

JY: "Long time no see, sweetheart."

I gasped.

NY: "Oh, Jeongyeon!!"

Seeing Jeongyeon for the first time since the graduation ceremony made my eyes light up. I jumped up into her arms and we spun around the room, after which she gave me a kiss on the cheek.
