JY: "Ugh... mom, do I seriously have to spend my senior year at this uppity-looking private school?"

Mrs. Yoo: "Come on, honey, it's not that bad! Plus, me and your father spent a LOT of money trying to get you into St. Mary's."

JY: "But I've heard that private school people are so entitled!"

Mrs. Yoo laughed.

Mrs. Yoo: "Sweetie, you watch too many movies. I'm sure you'll make some genuine friends here!"

JY: "Fine..."

Jeongyeon grabbed her bag and got out of the car. She turned and stared at the large school building ahead of her.

JY: "Oh, wow..."

Mrs. Yoo: "Have a great day, honey! Make lots of new friends, use your manners, and remember, don't forget to smile!"

JY: "Haha! Bye, mother!"

Jeongyeon waved goodbye to her mother as she pulled away. She turned back around, took a deep breath, and began to walk up the stairs to get into the school.

When she got to the top of the stairs, she opened the door and gasped.

"My GOODNESS! This sure is an expensive school..." Jeongyeon thought to herself.

Jeongyeon's mother was right. St. Mary's was a very prestigious and high-class school that only the best of the best could attend. A lot of rich students attended this school.

Jeongyeon began to walk and look around the school.

"Hmm, this must be an all-girls school... I don't see any boys here."
she thought.

After a few minutes of walking, Jeongyeon finally made it to the main office. She went in and walked up to the secretary's desk.

JY: "Um, hi! I'm a new student here, and I'm here because I need to talk to the... admissions clerk?"

Secretary: "Oh, you're new here... ok, I guess I can get you set up... what's your name?"

JY: "Yoo Jeongyeon."

Secretary: "Okay... and what grade are you in?"

JY: "12th."

Secretary: "You're a senior.... okay..."

Jeongyeon stood in front of the desk awkwardly, looking around the main office as the secretary typed away on her computer. A few seconds later, she could hear someone running towards the entrance. Jeongyeon turned around and saw a girl running in her direction, stopping right next to her.
