i'm back!!
did ya miss me?👀 i know, i missed me too😍

first i wanna start off by saying i really hope you liked the chapter i put out recently!! i can tell a lot of you guys enjoyed it with the amount of votes it got

Employee (from outside of the office door): "Momo?"

"Oh, god..." Momo thought.

MM: "Yes, what is it now?"

The employee slowly opened Momo's door and walked to her desk with a large stack of papers in her hand. She put the stack of papers down on her desk.

Employee: "Uh, management told me to give you these files and sort them out. They want them handed back by 2:30."

MM (sarcastically): "Oh, whoop-dee-do! More file sorting. How fun..."

Momo lifted her wrist and took a glance at her watch. The time was currently 1:30.

MM: "Ugh, and they're only giving me an hour to do this shit?!" *sigh*

The employee half laughed.

Employee: "Momo, I get it. I know how you're feeling right now. Ever since all this work came falling from the sky, everyone's been pretty stressed around here. I promise you, you're not the only one."

MM: *chuckle* "Thanks, Jessica, for trying to lighten the mood around here... although it's not gonna change my workload, I appreciate you being the positive one around here."

Employee: "Awe... well it's the least I can do. Well, I have to go take care of my workload now. I'll swing by your office later?"

MM: "Yeah, that's fine..."

Employee: "Perfect! Good luck!"

MM (to herself): "Yeah, I'm totally gonna need that luck."

When the employee finally left Momo's office, Momo grabbed the stack of papers from the side of her desk and placed them in front of her.
She took one look at the stack and let out a huge sigh.

"God... how many more files are these STUPID managers gonna give me?!" Momo thought as she shuffled and organized all the papers on her desk.

If you couldn't already tell, Momo was an employee at Yoo Enterprises, which was a new job she had just gotten recently. She thought that this was gonna be a great opportunity for her, but in reality, all it bought her was a whole bunch of stress, sleepless nights, emotional drainage, and dark circles around her eyes.

Things only started to get worse a few weeks ago when the company started to shift workloads onto random employees because people from left to right were being fired from a sudden layoff spree. It was no surprise that Momo was confused why she suddenly had nearly three times the work she normally had.
