wassup peeps?! nice to see you guys again.

so before i start this chapter, i just wanna say sorry for not giving y'all the SaMo chapter sooner😅 i really was looking forward to, but then stuff suddenly came up, so uhhh sorry for the long wait💔

but it seems like the wait was worth it, bc y'all really seem to be enjoying it, AND i've gotten a whole bunch of new requests!🤭 so i do wanna say thanks for that as well.

(NAYEON'S POV)

*sigh* "I don't know if I can take this boredom any longer..." I silently said to myself, slumping on the couch and sighing sadly.

As you could probably tell, I was sitting on the couch in the living room, at my house, all by myself. Fun, right? WRONG.

Earlier this morning, my boyfriend had to leave to go to work because of some random emergency down at his office. Of course, it was the weekend which meant I wasn't working anywhere, so I got to stay here at home while he takes care of things.

At first, it wasn't really too bad staying at home on my own. I was sort of productive; I made myself a nice breakfast, did some cleaning around the house, worked out for a bit, and got caught up on my TV shows. I enjoyed having the house to myself for a bit.

However, as soon as the evening time rolled around... I was almost already bored of anything and everything.

It was almost 8:00, and my boyfriend had been at work for nearly 10 hours. I thought he would be getting home earlier than that, but I guess that work emergency really has him held up...

I grabbed my phone that was on the table in front of the couch and picked it up. I scrolled through my contacts and clicked on my boyfriend's number, waiting for him to pick up.

**riiiiiiiiiing... riiiiiiiiiiing...**

"Hello? Babe?"

Oh, it's him! Oh god, what do I say? What do I say?!

NY: "Oh! H-Hi, Y/N..."

"I saw you trying to call me. Is everything okay back at home?"

NY: "Y-Yeah, everything's fine!"

"Oh... well, are you sure? Usually when you call me at work, there's usually an emergency. What is it?"

NY: "Nah, no emergency! I was just calling to...."

"Calling to do what?"

NY: "To... u-um..."

"Nayeon..? Everything okay, love?"

NY: "...."

Ugh... I can't take this anymore!! This man has been gone for so long, and if he's gone for any longer, I just might lose it.

NY: *sigh* "To... to say that I really miss you!!"

I heard Y/N sigh over the phone.

*sigh* "You're really starting to miss me, huh babe?"

NY: "Ugh, yes! It seems like you've been at work forever! Do you even plan on coming back...?!"

*giggle* "Oh, babe... you're so funny sometimes. Of course I plan on coming back from work, it's just... sometimes these random work emergencies can hold me up for hours, and sometimes they're completely out of my control. I hope you understand that."
