Review

After the Colossal Titan destroyed the Wall of Trost, the advance team came to the gate to build defenses and barricades to hold the Titans from getting inside. Eren and his team went to headquarters to report of what they encountered. All the Cadets heard the news of the incident and was in fear.

They hastily armed themselves for battle and duty to support each other in the battle as the vanguard, the middle, and the rear will be in their position to protect the citizens until they have completely evacuated from Trost, but they could not deny the possibility that the Armored Titan could appear again to destroy the inner gate, which could cause Wall Rose to be dominated by the Titans and all of people would have to retreat to Wall Sina. Eren and his team were already in position to launch to assist the squad, but they noticed all were wiped out. Many Titans have entered the city, hunting for people.

As Eren's teammates, including him, were doing their mission, Titans grabbed and ate them along the way. Eren was crippled thanks to the loss of his left leg being bitten off. Armin was about to be eaten too, until Eren sacrificed himself to save his childhood friend. Armin was in shock of what happened and was not in his right mind.

Later

As the bright sky became dark grey, Armin was still paralyzed, as still as a model until Connie happened to be near him. He rushed to the blonde boy and tried to wake him from his trance by shaking him and shouting at him. For a few minutes, Armin still has not recovered and Connie was getting fustrated. He shook him more furiously with desperation.

Connie: Hey! Hey! What is wrong, Armin!? Pull yourself together! Hey! Armin! Hey, Armin! Hey!

Armin: C-Connie?

Connie: You with me? You okay? Are you all right? Where is your squad?

Armin: Squad?

Connie: Oh, man. Pull yourself together. Why are you all by yourself? Plus, you are all wet and slimy...What the hell happened?

Armin: What happened?

Just then memories of what happened earlier came rushing back into his brain and screamed at the top of his lungs with his eyes wide-open as he gripped unto and rubbed his hair tightly and furiously, hating himself for not doing anything and watching his teammates getting eaten by the Titans instead of saving them. Eren being eaten was the worst nightmare of all to him.

Armin: AAHHHH!! YOU ARE SO USELESS!! JUST DIE ALREADY!!

Connie: Who, calm down, Armin!

Armin: DAMN IT!!

Connie: Where is everyone?

???: Just give it a rest, Connie.

Connie: What?

???: They have all been wiped out. Everyone, but him.

Connie: Shut up, Ymir! Armin has not say anything yet!

Ymir: Just look around you. It is so obvious. We do not have any more time to waste on him.

Connie: Why is he the only one who is okay?

Ymir: Beats me. Maybe the Titans thought he was a corpse? It sucks that they ran into multiple Titans and that underachiever is the only one who made it out alive.

Ymir: Eren and the others worked hard for nothing.

Connie: You bitch...Want me to make sure you never talk again!?

???: Stop it, you two! We are all shaken up! All our friends are suddenly dying left and right! It is natural that we are upset!

Ymir: That is my Christa! Marry me when this is over! Ahahahahahaha!!
