Somewhere in the forest, Annie grunted as she kept kicking the dummies set up by her father while sweat was sliding down her face.

???: That is it, Annie! I would expect no less from my daughter!

Annie began to slow down and was tired due to the energy and strength she used on her kicks as she breathed heavily.

???: What are you doing, Annie!? No resting!

Flashback Ends

Annie woke up to see her room being lighted up by the sun as it's light shine through the windows. She got up and wore her bathrobe before going into the bathroom.

Annie (in her mind): It is been a while I saw Eren. From what I heard, the Military Police are going to take him.

Annie: Eren, I hope you are okay.

Annie (in her mind): I should not be distracted by that now. I need to finish bathing and get ready to work since I am part of the Military Police.

Meanwhile

Stohess District, Wall Sina

Annie was assigned to work in Stohess District in Wall Sina when she chosed to join the Military Police and ended up having a room to stay in with Hitch again.

Citizen: You mean you have not heard? The Titan boy and the big shots in charge of him are apparently being called to the capital.

Citizen: And they are passing through this city today.

Citizen 2: I see. Sounds like he will be interrogated for sure this time.

Citizen: Whatever the case, I just hope he passes through without a hitch and has the gate shut firmly behind him.

A man was surprised of what the citizen said as he widened his eyes and dropped his bag. He then walked towards him.

Priest: Did you just mention sealing the gate?

Citizen: Huh?

Priest: You would suggest that we defile the Walls even further!?

The two citizens were surprised when they saw the him wearing a necklace signifying that he is a priest and a member of the Order of the Walls.

Priest: Maria! Rose! Sina! To defile the three goddesses is to commit an unpardonable transgression!

Priest: Similar to gods, the Walls are impenetrable!

Citizen 2: They love and worship the Walls as gods. Do not get involved.

Citizen 3: Man. They are still around?

Priest: One shall worship, praise, and respect the Walls!

Citizen: Damn. Let's get out of here.

Priest: Our only protectors are the Walls!

Later

Military Police Regiment Branch Office

After bathing, Annie wear her casual white hoodie and her Military Police uniform before walking out of the room. She was making her way down the stairs and met up with Hitch standing next to the other Military Police members.

Hitch: You are finally up. You look totally scary when you are asleep that I could not wake you up. Sorry, Annie.

???: You have been slacking a lot lately.

Hitch: What is this? Are you mad already?

???: She is antisocial, all right.

MP2: Just leave her be. She came here from Trost. She is the only one here who has seen real action.
