In the year 850, the Colossal Titan reappeared and demolished another wall. Once again, after five years, humanity allowed the Titans to further their advance. One after another, soldiers fell to the Titans' desire for human flesh and blood. And then...

Armin: EREN! HURRY!!

Just when he was about to grab Eren's hand to pull him out, the Titan shut it's mouth, Eren's hand flew off and he was swallowed. Armin could not help, but scream in the state of being shocked. Eren fell prey to a Titan too.

Armin: NOOOO!!

Later

Few hours after the loss of Squad 34, Mikasa flew off to reach Headquarters and cleanse it from the Titans surrounding it. Mikasa was ahead clearing off the Titans, making it easy for the others to pass following behind her.

Connie: Man, Mikasa is incredible... How can she move so fast?

Armin: No! She is not her usual, composed self at all!

Just then, her omnidirectional gear ran out of gas in mid-air as she crashed unto a roof and rolled down until she hit the ground. A Titan was walking towards her as she kept walking backwards. Just then before she turned her head, another Titan walked over a pile of rubble from behind and walked towards her. She was surrounded and had nowhere to escape. Just then, she heard Eren's voice in her mind.

Eren: Fight! Fight! Fight!

Mikasa (in her mind): Ereh...

Eren: Fight! You have to fight! Fight! Fight!

His words triggered Mikasa which made her feel alive again  and tears began streaming down her cheeks.

Mikasa (in her mind): I am sorry, Ereh...I will not give up anymore. I will never give up again. If I die, I will lose my memories of you too, on top of everything else.

Mikasa: I will do whatever it takes to win! Whatever it takes to live!

Mikasa found herself in dire situation when a mysterious Titan appeared and attacked another Titan.

Mysterious Titan: HROOOOOOOAGH!!

Minutes Later

Armin: There! Your mobility gear still works, and I have given you all my blades. All I ask is that you leave me with this one blade.

Armin: I would rather not get eaten alive if I can.

He sacrificed his gas and most of his blades for Mikasa and only one blade to himself. Despite of him willing to give up his life, he was still afraid of being eaten as he looked at the reflection of himself in the blade. Mikasa grabbed the blade from his hand and tossed it away.

Armin: No way...

Mikasa: Armin.

Armin: Huh?

Mikasa: I am not leaving you here. Now stand up!

Armin: But the place is swarming with Titans. You cannot possibly carry someone while jumping...

Connie: Screw that! I am not going let another one of our member of the 104th cadet group die! Never again! Now let's go!

Mikasa and Connie then started to run while pulling Armin with them. Because of this, he could not help, but feel the guilt that he is only a burden to them.

Armin (in his mind): No...Please do not...I will only...I will only get more of my friends killed!

Mysterious Titan: HROOOOOARGH!!
