As they continued to ride, Eren spotted a soldier flying through the trees before a giant fist suddenly swatted him away which belonged to the Female Titan. Eren was shocked to see it running towards him and his team.

Levi: Move!

Gunther: It is fast! There is no way to avoid it inside this forest!

Eld: It is catching up!

Petra: Heichou! Let's switch to omnidirectional mobility! Heichou!

Soldier: You are not going anywhere!

Petra: Reinforcements from the rear!

The soldier from the rear tried to fire his anchor to hook on to her, but the Female Titan dodged to her left which caused it to overshoot. She grabbed his wire and pulled him to her before smashing him into a tree with her shoulder. The other also from the rear tried to break away, but the Female Titan grabbed his wire and pulled him towards her before she had him in her grasp and crushed him. She tossed his body away and continued to chase Eren and his team. Eren and the others were horrified to see the reinforcements wiped out in an instant, except Levi.

Petra: Captain! Give your orders!

Oruo: Let's take it out! It's dangerous! We should take care of it!

Gunther: It is about to catch up to us!

Eld: Let's take it out here! That's why we entered this forest! Isn't it, Heichou!?

Eren: Heichou! Your orders!

Levi: Everyone, cover your ears.

Eren and the others were confused by what Levi was saying, but still obeyed his orders and covered their ears. He took out his flare gun and aimed it into the sky as he pulled back the lever and fired an acoustic shell.

Eren: An acoustic shell!?

Levi: Tell me. What is your job again? Is it simply to surrender to your fleeting emotions? No, it's not.

Levi: This squad's mission is to do everything possible to keep this brat unharmed. Down to our last breath.

Eren (in his mind) It is not to keep an eye on me?

Levi: We are going to keep pushing ahead on horseback. Got it?

Petra: Understood, sir!

Eren: Push ahead!? But for how long!? Not to mention, it is almost on top of us now!

As he turned his head to see the Female Titan, another soldier popped right in front of her from behind.

Eren: More...More reinforcements! They will get killed too if we do not hurry up and help them!

Gunther: Eren! Face forward!

Eren: Gunther-san!?

Eld: Do not fall out of step! Maintain top speed!

Eren: Eld-san!? Why!? Who could possibly stop it, if not Squad Levi!?

The soldier tried to attack the Female Titan head on, but she slammed him into a tree in cold-blood, killing him instantly.

Eren: Another one is dead! We could have saved him too!

The Female Titan tried to swat the soldier away, but he dodged her hand as he is trying to find a way to kill or at least slow her down.
