In the year 845, the Colossal Titan and the Armored Titan suddenly appeared. They destroyed one of humanity's walls and everyday life with it. Humanity abandoned Wall Maria, lost twenty-percent of its population and a third of its territory, and was forced to retreat behind Wall Rose.

In the year 850, the Colossal Titan reappeared and demolished another wall. Once again, humanity allowed Titans to further its advance. One after another, soldiers fell to the Titans. And then...

Armin: EREN! HURRY!

Just when he was about to grab Eren's hand to pull him out, the Titan shut it's mouth, Eren's hand flew off and he was swallowed. Armin could not help, but scream in the state of being shocked.

Armin: NOOOO!!

Eren Jaeger, who had fallen prey to one reappeared from inside a mysterious Titan after brutally destroying other Titans.

Hours Later

Pyxis walked to the edge of the wall and breathed in as much as he could before getting the soldiers' attention.

As for the elite squad at the giant rock, Eren's Titan rammed its fist to where Annie was, but she managed to jump away and ended up hitting the side of the chimney. Eren pulled away having no hand after his punch.

Ian: LEONHARDT!!

Eren swung his left first at her, but she managed to jump away and he ended losing his left hand as well. She shot her grabbing hooks unto Eren and pulled herself to his forehead.

Ian: Hey! Stop, Leonhardt! Get away from him!

Annie: Eren, it's me, Annie! Do you not recognize me?! Please wake up! You have to seal the gate with that rock!

While Annie was trying to wake him up, Rico loaded her flare gun with the barrel with a red-colored label.

Rico (in her mind): The operation is a failure. I knew there was no secret weapon.
