Erwin: NOW COMMENCING THE FIFTY-SEVENTH EXTERIOR SCOUTING MISSION! MOVE OUT!

After setting out to establish a route to Shiganshina, the Scout Regiment encountered the Female Titan, which was believed to be a transformed human, similar to Eren. 

Armin (in his mind): It is not an Abnormal! It is a person clad in a Titan body!

As soldier after soldier fell, the regiment rushed into a forest of giants trees, much to everyone's puzzlement. 

Eren: Who could possibly stop it, if not Squad Levi!? 

Levi: Choose. Will you trust yourself, or me, these guys, and the entire Scout Regiment?

Eren: I WILL GO WITH YOU!

They kept riding with the Female Titan behind them until she fell right into the trap which was already set by Erwin.

Erwin: FIRE!!

The other Scouts activated their special target restraining weapons and fired multiple metal arrowheads with wires connected to them at the Female Titan from all directions and she was immobilized with both of her hands protecting her nape.

Later

Oh, right. There is one thing I need to ask. Will you be fine if your limbs get cut off?

Levi: They will grow back, right? I am taking about your actual body. We cannot afford to have you die on us after all.

That scared the Female Titan. She opened her mouth and screamed as loud as she could which caused the soldiers to cover their ears. The sound of her scream was so loud that even the other Scouts outside the forest could hear it. 

Her scream attracted the Titans. A huge group of humanoid giants rushed through the forest and attacked her. The Scouts did whatever they could to protect her, but their efforts were all in vain. There were too many Titans for them to kill as she ended up being torn apart and feasted on.

Erwin: This goes to show that the enemy was prepared to throw away everything. 

Erwin: I never imagined our target would resort to Titan cannibalization to dispose of information.

Erwin: ALL SOLDIERS, WITHDRAW! REDEPLOY THE FORMATION! RETURN TO CALANETH DISTRICT!

Hours Later

Gunther: Oh, that must be a message from Levi Heichou. We are regrouping with Heichou! Stow the chatter until we are home!

He landed on a branch of a tree and fired a green smoke signal to tell Levi that they saw his signal, but little did they know it was not him as the mysterious person who fired the smoke signal, tossed the flare gun away and flew off to where they are.

Hanji: Erwin. Why did you have Levi replenish his supplies when there is no time to waste?

Erwin: The Female Titan was eaten. But did you see the person inside get eaten? I did not.

Hanji: Are you saying...

Erwin: Yes. If, as you deduced earlier, we are dealing with a type that remains able-bodied after de- transformation.

Erwin: And if they had equipped themselves with omnidirectional mobility gear in advance, that means they are now wearing one of our uniforms...

While Gunther and the others were still flying, he noticed a mysterious person flying near him and assumed it was Levi.

Gunther: Levi Heichou? No. It is not! Who are you!?

Before Gunther could react, the mysterious person charged towards him and killed him instantly. The others were shocked as his body was hanging unto a nearby tree.
