PAST

TW: Eleanor

Louis and Harry sit at the dining table, eating sandwiches. Clifford is under the table trying to get the scraps that have fallen on the floor.

"I listened to your new album, it was great, but Princess Park really, could you make it any more obvious?"

"It's not that obvious, what about your album? What is watermelon sugar? I hope it's not what I think it is."

"It is," Harry says as he winks.

"Harry! You can't write songs like that; the whole world doesn't need to know what we do in the bedroom."

"Says the one that wrote no control, and most of our fans were in middle school, or younger!"

"It's a catchy song, and it's not that detailed, but watermelon sugar is. Harry the fans already know too much about our relationship, they're writing fanfics about it. Next thing you know they're going to make a watermelon sugar fanfic about you doing watermelon sugar."

"Oh, I'll have to read that one if it ever comes out."

"Harry! Do you know how intense the fanfics are? They're so detailed and gruesome. They have us do things that we've never tried. I would like to try some of the things they write about, but it just scares me that teenage girls are fanaticizing our relationship and writing about it."

"I know what's in the fanfics Louis, I have read almost all of them. I really enjoy reading them, I think they're art. Especially, Unbelievers, that's why I wrote Golden because you're my golden boy. Why have you never tried to cover yourself in gold glitter before, I feel like it could spice up our relationship a bit."

"Harry! Maybe I'm just waiting for the perfect time, like your birthday perhaps, ay? Did you really like the album, Harry? It's my first solo album and I want it to be perfect."

"Lou, it is perfect, just like you."

Louis smiles and they continue eating their sandwiches, there is a knock at the door.

"I'll get it since the world thinks it's my house and where enemies, it's best if I get the door," Harry says standing up.

Harry walks to the door and opens it, there stands Eleanor with her dog.

"Oh great, it's you," Harry says

"Hi Harry, is Lou there?"

"Ya, but you can just talk to me, he's busy."

"I need to ask him something though."

"What is it Eleanor, can't you just ask me? Let me guess you're here to ask for Clifford to take him on his walk like you always do. No need to ask this happens almost every day."

"Harry who's at the door? Can I come out? Or is it a fan? Is that Elenor I hear? Is she here to take Clifford on his walk?" Louis yells.

"Yes, it's Eleanor, she's just here to pick up Clifford and leave. No need to come over here because she is going to be leaving."

Louis walks over to the door with Clifford on his leash.

"Hello Eleanor," Louis says.

"Hi Lou, is Clifford ready?"

"Yes, he's right here for you."

Louis hands Clifford off to Eleanor.

"Okay think you, see you, boys, later."

"Bye Eleanor," Louis says waving her off.

"Bye dog walker," Harry says softly.

"What?" Eleanor asks turning around.

"Nothing, just go, bye!" Harry says gesturing her to leave.

Eleanor leaves and Harry shuts the door, Louis and Harry walk back to the table.

"Dog walker, really? You don't have to be such a dick to her. At least I play nice when I'm around her, I say those types of things about her when she leaves."

"Well, she is a dog walker, isn't she? That's all she does, shows up here unexpectedly, takes Clifford, and leaves. If you wanted to hire a dog walker you could have hired Niall, he would at least do it for free and he would bark with dogs. He's the closest human to a dog, cause he's always barking."

"Harry, I have to have Eleanor walk Clifford, I don't want to, but I have to. You know I hate hiding our love just as much as you do, but we're stuck in contracts, so this is what we have to do. Niall would be an awful dog walker; he would use Clifford to get the ladies. He would end up losing him, and we'd never see Clifford again."

"You're right Lou, and your also right about Niall. He can barely take care of a plant so he definitely can't take care of a dog. Just wait till Niall has kids, those poor kids they're always gonna be lost."

"Niall with kids, that's scary."

Louis and Harry begin to laugh, they sit back down at the table and finish off their lunch.
