"Seriously?" he said, he sounded more agitated than anything else. "You're skipping school with him. With Potter?"

"It's not for Harry. It's for Mr. Weasley. Harry's dream was real. He was attacked and he's in St. Mungos right now as we speak," Hermione said.

"Still. I'm not too fond of that Weaslebee kid either. The whole lot of them stink," Draco spat.

"Okay, there's where you're wrong. Are you seriously being a jealous asshole right now? Someone is hurt and you're keeping up this jealous charade."

"It's not a charade. I just don't like him, that's all."

"Why not?"

"Are you really asking me why I don't like Ronald Weasley?"

"Yes, he can be a little cruel sometimes, but he's got charm to him that makes us all still like being around him."

"So you like being around him now, do you?"

"Merlin, you are taking this way too far."

"Am I, Hermione?"

"Yes, you are! I am just going to St. Mungos with Harry and the Weasleys to visit a dear friend who is in the hospital! The man almost died."

"Hermione-"

"Also, what was that about the lot of the Weasleys being rotten? Ginny Weasley is my best friend. You'd think that you would want to not bad mouth her and her family in front of me."

"Well, you know who else you claim to be your best friend? The guy who roughed me up on the Quidditch pitch."

"God, Draco, this is not about Harry, for the fifteenth time!"

"Well, you can't blame me for-"

"Goodbye, Draco."

"Hermione-"

At that moment, Hermione shut the broom closet door behind her. She didn't look back as she walked to get her things from her dormitory.

"We're here to see Arthur Weasley," Tonks said to the nurse working at the front desk. The nurse directed Hermione, Mrs. Weasley, Ron, Ginny, Fred, George, Mad-Eye, and Tonks through a glass door into a huge waiting room filled with people. Families waiting for their patients, patients waiting for their appointments, the works.

"This way, come on!" Mrs. Weasley pushed through the sea of people as one feisty old woman does. The group stopped outside a door at the end of the hall that led to the ward.

"We'll wait outside at first, Molly," Tonks said. "It should be family first."

Mrs. Weasley nodded and ushered the rest of her family through the door. The only people left standing out in the hall were Harry, Hermione, Mad-Eye, and Tonks. "Don't be silly, Harry, Hermione, you two as well," Mrs. Weasley insisted. Hermione and Harry hesitantly stumbled through the door due to Mrs. Weasley's lovable pushes.

Contrary to how packed the waiting room was, there were only three people in the ward. There was a middle-aged woman with brown hair who seemed to have something wrong with her neck. There was an old gray-haired man with a small beard that had his leg propped up and in a cast. Lying in the farthest bed from the door, Mr. Weasley was still and surprisingly full of life for just getting attacked by a venomous snake. His ginger hair looked a little bit muted as if his hair had gotten grayer since the last summer (which was doubtful). His skin was pale with purple bruised splotches spaced out among the skin on his face. His lip was swollen and there was a cut on it. His chin had a large bump emerging from it. There was a huge bloodstained bandage wrapped around his head as well. His left arm was slinged up and his abdomen was bandaged.
