The next morning, when Hermione woke up, Harry was waiting in the common room. It seemed that Madame Pomfrey had released him this morning.
"Hermione! I have so much to tell you!" Harry said.
"Whoa, you're already out? Did the bones grow back already?" Hermione asked.
"No," Harry held up his arm which had a sling on it. Ron hopped down the stairs.
"Morning, Hermione," Ron stopped in his tracks. "Harry?!" His face broke out in a grin. "Bloody hell!"
"I have much to tell you guys," Harry said.
"Then say it!" Hermione said.
"Okay, okay, first of all, Dobby visited me again last night."
"In the Hospital Wing?" Hermione asked. Harry nodded. We must've just missed each other then, Hermione thought.
"And he said something about something happening again. Like this has happened before. Like the Chamber of Secrets has been opened before."
"Really?" Ron breathed.
"Uh huh. And that'a not even it. Colin Creevey was pertrified!"
"Actually?" Hermione asked. Hermione was scared. Really scared.
"Yes! And Dumbledore was all scared and stuff."
"If Dumbledore's scared, then we're done for!" Ron said.
"We'll figure it out. We have to," Harry said.
"Oh, by the way, I got all the ingredients we need for the Polyjuice Potion while you were in the wing, Harry," Hermione said.
"Ahem, I helped," Ron said.
"Fine, Ron helped."
"Did you get the hairs too?" Harry asked.
"No, I have a plan to get those, Hermione said.
"Let's get to brewing then if this is going to take a month." Hermione grabbed her potions case out of her dorm and they headed to the abandoned girl's bathroom. The reason it was abandoned was because a girl had died in there a long long time ago. When they got inside, the bathroom was grimy. It was dusty since no one had been there in ages. One of the mirrors was cracked and all of the sinks looked rusted over. Hermione sat down and placed her cauldron on the ground. She opened her potions case and started brewing. Hermione flipped open the book with the instructions in it. Hermione filled her cauldron with water and set it on her portable burner.
Ron's eyes lit up. "Of course! Why didn't I think of it before? Don't you see? Lucius Malfoy must've opened it when he was at school here, and now he's told Draco how to do it."
"Maybe. We'll have to wait for the Polyjuice Potion to know for sure." Hermione read the next item.
"Enlighten me. Why are we brewing this potion in broad daylight, in the middle of a girls' lavatory? Don't you think we'll get caught?"
"Never. No one over comes in here."
"Why?"
"Moaning Myrtle."
"Who's Moaning Myrtle?" Suddenly, a loud screech echoed through the bathroom and a white translucent figure of a young girl flew out. She had an old looking dress on with brown haired pigtails and glasses similar to Harry's.
"I'm Moaning Myrtle," Myrtle humphed. "I wouldn't expect you to know me. Who would ever talk about fat, ugly, miserable, moping, Moaning Myrtle?" Myrtle let out a louder screech and dove head first into a toilet, water splashing array.
