That night all you could think about was Josh's text & what he could do to you.
Hell he could even kill you if he had the guts to do it.

Once your mind emptied from those thoughts you fell asleep & rested until morning came & you had to get up.

9:50AM

Around 10 in the morning you woke up & saw Adam sitting at your desk, in your chair, looking at you with worried & concerned hazel eyes.
"Adam? What are you doing? What's wrong?" You ask as you sit up in your bed & yawn. "I looked at your phone while you were sleeping. I saw that text from Josh that he sent to you. You shouldn't go. Very bad things can happen to you & our baby." Adam says. "I know but if whatever it is he wants to talk about with me that happens to be important I'm going. I'm sorry but I have to go this afternoon by myself." You say. "Please, don't go." Adam says. "I'm sorry... I need to go get ready. Please, leave." You say as Adam nods & gets up & walks out of the room so you can get dressed privately.

After getting dressed you walked downstairs after shutting the door to your room to go & get yourself food for the morning/almost afternoon.
"Hey Adam. Just coming down to get food." You say as Adam nods while he sits on the couch head between his knees.

You felt bad for him. Having you leave to go talk with Josh without him. But you couldn't let your personal feelings get to you. At least not now.
You walked in the pantry to grab a cereal & pour it into a bowl & walk over to the table to sit down & eat & look at Adam who was having a hard time with the decision you have chosen.
Not staying here & going to see Josh & talk.

When you finished you got up with the bowl in your hand, set it in the sink & then headed upstairs & then back downstairs to sit next to Adam & show him something.
"Adam, do you remember this?" You ask tapping Adam on the shoulder making him turn to look down at what you were holding.

You were holding your charm necklace that had a picture of you & Adam inside of the heart.
"You still have it." Adam says. "Of course. I'll never loose it. It's to important to me." You say as Adam smiles. "I'm glad you've been taking care of it babe, I appreciate it. As much as I appreciate you in being a part of my life." Adam says. "Aww. Thanks babe, well, I should really be going over to Josh's house now. See you later." You say. "I don't like that your doing this but good luck & call if you need me." Adam says as you nod & slip on your shoes & grab your phone & put it in your small purse.

Once you left the house & shut the door behind you you took a deep breath & then walked down the stairs, & walked down the block over to Josh's house to ring his doorbell & wait for him to invite you into his house once again.

*ding dong*

"Who is it?" Josh calls from inside the house. "It's me. You wanted to talk?" You ask. "Yeah, here. Come on in." Josh says opening the door & letting you in.

Once you walk in Josh leads you upstairs to his room & shuts his door once you & himself enter.
"So, where were we last." Josh says as he touches your face & tries to kiss you but you push him away. "We're not doing that. Not today. What did you want to talk about." You say. "Look, I wanted to talk about you & I & the whole breakup thing. Let's start off easy by you asking me why you broke up with me in the first place." Josh asks. "Josh I broke up with you because 1, you had a new girlfriend. 2, you treated me terribly & lied. & 3, I have a loving husband & soon to be father. That's why. What else did you want me to answer for you while I'm still alive & standing on two legs." You say. "The other thing I wanted to talk about was you & I & me & Nat & then you & Adam. Why do you make things so hard sometimes?" Josh asks. "Because I like to make things hard for everyone that I don't know or used to know. That's who I am as a grown woman carrying around a baby." You say. "About the baby... Tell me about he or she." Josh says. "No I will not tell you about my baby. He or she is not your baby so you don't need to know anything about the child... Me & Adam's child, that we are going to raise together." You say. "Ok, then talk to me about why you & Adam are a couple." Josh asks. "I'll answer that once you tell me about you & Nat. Why her." You ask. "You really wanna know the real story." Josh asks as you nod crossing your arms.

"Ok. It all started when I saw her walking down the street of Brooklyn New York & stopping at my front steps outside to tie her shoes. When I saw her I decided to go outside & meet her & introduce myself. She was very kind & the moment it came to me asking if she wanted to come in she said yes. Not hesitating at all.
So her & me hung out here & then when she bailed me out of prison, yes her & I were dating before I went to prison that's when I decided to ask her if she wanted a family so lately while we're still in the dating area of our relationship. That's what we have been working on & this morning she took a test & it came back negative but we're not gonna give up." Josh says. "That's sweet... Well I guess now that you've told me your story I get to tell you mine." You say. "Exactly. Go on, tell your story. Not from the very beginning the story of you & Adam's relationship." Josh says as you nod, take a deep breath, & start talking.

After an hour of talking to Josh about you & Adam Josh gets up from his bed he was sitting on & approached you.

He didn't say anything. You barely even heard his breathing.
Then a powerful force hits you right in the cheek. Josh slapped you.

"Come on, Josh. I'm sorry. Don't to this to me." You say. "Quit apologizing! You should be in love with none one right now! Not even yourself!" Josh says raising his voice. "Ok, fine. Maybe I am meant to be alone & have no one but I will not stop trying to find the part in my life that I deserve." You say as Josh walks over to his dresser to grab something out of it & point it towards you.

He held a gun right to your neck.
You wanted to scream & run away as quick as you could but you just stood their.
"You deserve this. For all you have done to me." Josh says as you continue to be quit until you see Josh's house arrest alarm on his leg go off & you sprint out of his house & run over to Adam's as quick as you could & watch the cops come in & swarm his house & arrest him for trying to kill you.

You knocked on Adam's door & Adam opened it & you ran straight into his chest to hug him tightly.
"I'm sorry! I should have listened to you! I should've not gone over their!" You say beginning to cry. "Babe, what'd he do to you?" Adam asks. "He tried to kill me babe! But I managed to escape when his house arrest alarm went off & the cops showed up & took him back to jail." You say crying. "Babe, babe, I'm just glad he didn't hurt you. & I'm glad he's going back to jail. He deserves a full life in jail for doing that & the addiction." Adam says as you nod & Adam whips your tears away.

"Come on, let's go upstairs & talk about this alright?" Adam says as you nod & Adam & you go upstairs once Adam locks the door to the front of the house.
Once upstairs you & Adam entered his bedroom & sat down on the bed & you told Adam about everything you told him, everything he told you, & how it got to you being a statue & being pointed at with a gun in his bedroom.

After talking to Adam about everything you & Adam just rocked each other's bodies while in a hug.
"Thank you, Adam." You say. "What are you thanking me for?" Adam asks. "I'm thanking you for all the things you have done to make my life one to remember." You say. "Well babe, your welcome. How's our baby girl doing?" Adam asks. "Perfectly fine & calm." You say. "Good, that's what I wanted to hear." Adam says as you smile.

That night before you went to bed you went downstairs to grab your phone that was sitting on the dinning table & turned it on to see Josh sent you a text a couple seconds before he was arrested & sent to jail. It read...

Hey! I wasn't done with you yet you little bitch! You're so gone once I get out of prison! Just you wait!

You immediately, after reading the text, deleted it & all his other messages for good & blocked him.
Once that was done & you deleted them all you headed upstairs with your phone in your hand & walked into Adam's room & got on his bed & slept next to him for the night.
