Your Mine (Adam Driver X Reader)

"I Wanna Show You Something."

Josh opens the front door of your own house & allows Adam into your house to sit down at the dining table in the kitchen.

"It's good to see you Josh. Is Amy here?" Adam asks. "She is here but she's busy doing something upstairs in her room. I can go get her if you want me to." Josh says. "That be great I'll stay here." Adam says as Josh nods & heads upstairs to come find you.
As Adam sits at the table alone by himself he looks around the area until his eyes spot your outfit on the floor & Josh's outfit as well.
Adam chuckles.

He knew about yours & Josh's relationship & he wasn't gonna get in the way of your relationship as Josh doesn't get in the way of yours & Adam's relationship. Well, at least not yet because he doesn't know.

When you come downstairs with Josh you have another nice pair of clothes on.

Red & black flannel tied around in a knot at the end, dark blue skinny jeans, & laced up cowgirl boots.

You've always liked being a country girl & listening to country music even though your a close to city, town girl that lives in Brooklyn New York you still loved everything country.

"Hi," you say quietly as Adam nods.
"Well, I'll leave you two alone for a couple minutes." Josh says as he walks into the pantry in the kitchen.

"Can we talk outside. I don't want to do this around Josh." You whisper as Adam grabs your hand & opens the main door to your house so you two can step outside & talk.

"So, what do you need to talk about?" You ask. "I was gonna ask you that same question. I don't need to talk about anything with you." Adam says. "Umm... Yeah, you do. Adam... Tell me about Joanne." You say crossing your arms.

Adam puts his arm on both of your shoulders & then let's go.

"Not now... Let's do this tomorrow. I have a work break tomorrow & you do too. We'll talk then. For now though I wanna get you something to eat. Come on, I brought my Jeep here go on ahead & get settled I need to talk to Josh."

Adam says as you pat him on the shoulder & then walk over into Adam's Black Jeep Wrangler.

Adam walks into your house & walks over into the kitchen to see Josh who was pouring root beer into a glass cup.

"Hi Josh, I just wanted to let you know that I'm taking Amy out for lunch. She'll be back here around noon. Enjoy your drink." Adam says. "Ok Adam thanks for letting me know. See you at the theatre later. Bye." Josh says as Adam nods & walks out the door closing it behind him.

Adam walks down your front door steps & gets in his Jeep where you were scrolling through your Instagram on your phone.
"So, what did you tell Josh?" You say looking up from your phone & putting it back in your pocket.
"I just told him I'm taking you out to go have lunch & that you'll be back around noon. & then he said he'll see me & you later at the theatre." Adam says. "Ok, that's fine. So, what are we getting for lunch?" You ask as Adam turns the car on & moves away from the parking spot right in front of your house.

Seriously why is Adam always like this? He never answers my questions unless he wants to or if it's important. It just doesn't make sense to me. Hopefully I'll get used to it later.

As Adam drives you continue to look through your Instagram until you feel Adam hit the brake slowly & make the car come to a complete stop.

You look up from your phone & see that Adam brought you to Wendy's.

"Adam! This is my favorite place to eat! How did you know?!" You ask. "I just guessed. I never knew it was your favorite place to eat here. Come on, let's go fill up our bodies before we head back to the theatre & do more work." Adam says undoing his seatbelt & stepping out of his car.
