I have been finding myself through this month, while finding myself I figured out that I like photography. I've been taking photos for a while, using the camera that Brylle Gave me. I am in Auckland here in New Zealand, yup. My Dad convinced me to continue what I want to be, as of now I am working here as a Researcher. ' Researcher - Research Unit (CRU), Intelligence, Data and Insights Branch, Immigration New Zealand.' I have been working here for about 7 months now and I already miss home. My friends and family are actually proud of me now.

It is really hard to be away to people you've been with since from the start, I am also trying to move on. Yes, I haven't moved on yet and I know someday I will. Since it's almost summer I've been working so hard so I could go back home this summer after all this work and overtime I am taking. Gusto ko na kasi puntahan sila Mama at Papa, nasa province daw kasi sila ngayon dun sa bahay nila Papa Chancellor. Nasanay na akong tawaging Papa yung asawa ni Mama, wala namang mali dun eh.

*RING*.... *RING*....*RING*....

I answered my phone "Yes, hello?" I say as I answer it "Mr. Arthur speaking here, Mrs. Jackson wants you in her office for some files. Will you please come and get it?" Mr. Arthur is one of my colleagues that helps me here, we talk professionally and formally here in this building but when we go out, he surely is not the same person inside this building and outside of this building. "Okay, I am on my way. Thank you." at that I end the call.

I really am not on my way, I am still in this cafe. I always brought some extra office clothes on weekends just in case they need me there. AND THEY ACTUALLY NEEDED ME THERE. I finished my coffee and go straight to the powder room (restroom / comfort room) "wala ngang pasok sa sabado papapasukin naman ako ngayong linggo naknang!" pagrereklamo ko. I got out and paid for my meal that I ate earlier.

As I got out a girl followed me "Uh, can I help you with anything?" I asked "oh nothing, I followed you because you forgot your car keys at the powder room. Now go before you become late." I thanked her and immediately went straight to the building. "Hey Tiffany, don't need to list me down I'm just gonna get some files" i said to the intern, she understand and let me go insides Mrs. Jackson's office. "I'm here Mrs. Ja-"

I stopped as I saw my father inside, with my family and friends inside. "Happy Birthday Drie!!!" "Happy Birthday Ms.Samaniego!" They sang me a happy birthday song, while a girl brought the cake in. "OH! YOU'RE THE GIRL THAT GIVE ME MY CAR KEYS!" she nodded "Mom said to buy you a cake so I go to that cafe, guess the universe wants us to meet?" she chuckled. *that laugh is cute, but mom who?!* "Mom?!" she points Mrs. Jackson. Well that makes sense.

"I've been missing you guys so much!!" I said as I hugged them all "Wow englisherang palaka, Yumi! Sampong buwan ka palang dito ha, chill!" sabi naman ni Mitch "OO NGA KALA MO DITO KA PINANGANAK?" pagrereklamo naman ni Elle "ano ba parang english lang eh" pagsingit naman ni Brylle sa usapan.

"I missed you" sabi ko sakanya "ay astig sakanya lang talaga" rinig kong sabi ni Kayden "wow sumasapaw" Mara said "WAAH GIRLS I MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCHH!!" "okay na ba yun Kay?" tumango na lang yung loko.

"So, uh Mrs. Jackson. The files?" I ask her "Oh there's actually no files, I'll just give it to you tommorow! Enjoy your day Ms. Yumi. Let's go now Coral." and with that they gave us her office to party with. Napaka-laki as in. "Happy ka naman?" tanong nila "Sobra, ang saya. Thank you!" matapos non ay pumatak yung luhua ko "Happy 23rd birthday Drie!!!"

In life sometimes it's better off alone, but it's much better to be with someone that you can count on. This may be the end but At least it's much happier.
