39 - Meeting a friend

"I'm sorry is this seat taken?" I rubbed my eyes and looked up at a woman with blond hair. "Scarlett?", I chuckled, finally being able to see who it was. I got up to hug the slitghly taller woman, even though I was wearing boots with heels. "I thought you left for Ohio?" She sat down next to me on the wet bench with her legs crossed under the big raincoat she wore. "Yeah changed my plans", she sighed. "Rose got sick, just a small bug." "Oh I'm sorry", I said and started to wake up. "Don't worry, didn't wanna go anyway when I could get the chance to hang out with you", she giggled and sidehugged me.

"So what are you doing out here alone, other than napping on a bench and getting a cold", she asked with a big smile on her face. "Sebastian is out, so I decided to visit Charlie", I sighed and tried to keep the smile on my face. She stroked my back. "It's her birthday today, right?" I nodded. "Then I'm blaming her for the bad weather", she giggled and made me laugh.

"Thanks Scar", I mumbled and grabbed her hand. She squeezed my fingers and winked. "No problem sweetie", she giggled. "Now let's get you a drink before Sebastian finds out you went alone." I agreed and followed her down the dark street and into a small bar.

We sat down on the barstools and took off our coats. I was about to ask her what she wanted but she beat me to it. "2 margaritas", she told the young girl behind the bar. The bartender nodded and started to make them. "And make them strong", I sighed as she poured the alcohol in the drinks. We got our drinks and I sipped it trying not to show it was too strong. If I did Scarlett would take it and I really needed the alcohol.

"So how's Colin", I asked and broke the silence. She smiled and I swore I could see her blush. "He's good", she mumbled. I cocked my brow. "Tell me", I said and mirrored her big smile. "We talked about finally moving in together." "WHAT", I squeaked and hyped her up. "Tell me the details!" "We're already looking for a house, but we hope we can find one before Christmas", she answered with blushing cheeks. "We thought about LA since we don't want rose separated from her dad but Colin also talked about New York since he's going to work here often." "Wow I'm happy for you", I giggled giving her a small side hug. She nodded and played with her drink. "Yeah me too." I raised my glass. "Cheers to a new beginning", I chuckled. She gently hit my glass with hers and we both drank the last of our drinks.

As the night got darker and the bar emptier Scarlett and I got drunker. We talked about everything from work and fans to live and sex. Of course she was surprised when I told her about the birthday sex me and Sebastian had in the kitchen since she thought I was an innocent child.

"And it was your first time in 6 months", she said with a surprised tone in her voice after almost choking on her drink. I nodded. "If I had to go 6 months without sex I would've orgasmed just by crossing my legs." We both laughed of her joke as I suddenly felt my phone vibrate. "One sec", I giggled and walked out on the bathroom.

"Heeeey."
"Y/N where are you?"
"Oh hey Sebby."
"Are you drunk?"
"Nah me and Scarlett just went out for a couple of drinks."
"I've been looking for you for hours. Why didn't you pick up my calls?"
"Didn't notice you called."
"Oh my god... how drunk are you?"
"Sebby, Sebby, Sebby... I already told you I'm not drunk."
"Where are you Y/N?"
"Why are you already home? Shouldn't you be with Chris?"
"It's 3AM Y/N."
"Oh."
"Just tell me where you are."
"I actually don't know."
"Oh my..."
"We're at a bar of some kind."
"Just send me your location. I'll find it."
"No we're having fuuuun."
"Y/N just do it."
"Fiiine. But only if you stop being an angry old man."
"I thought Scarlett were in Ohio."
"Well she isn't and she found me and invited me for drinks. Get over it."
"What the fu... where did she 'find' you?"
"Doesn't matter you weren't there."
"Y/N I'm coming for you."
"Okay. Buy ice cream on your way."
"You're lucky I love you."
"Bye daddy."

I hung up and walked back to Scarlett who were ordering new drinks. "Don't", I said and cut her off. "The old man is picking us up." "Why is it always the men who's ruining everything", she whined back. The bartender ignored us and walked away to another costumer. "I don't know but we're definitely coming back soon", I sighed and put on my coat. She got up on her feet and grabbed her sweater and coat. "Just another reason for me to move here", she chuckled and winked as she paid and followed me out the door. It was still raining.

"Finally", Scarlett mumbled as the well known black car drove into the parking lot after waiting in the rain for 5 minutes. And it was cold. "Shut up and get in", Sebastian sighed as he opened the doors. Scarlett and I couldn't help it but giggle. He was funny when he was annoyed. "Where to Scarlett", he asked. I was a bit disappointed but of course she had to go home. She had a kid. She hesitated. "Umm... this is kinda embarrassing but can I stay at your place? I don't want rose to see me like this..." She looked down at her feet. I quickly squeezed her hand and gave her a big smile. "Girls night is continuing", I chuckled and made her smile again.

"Oh god...", Sebastian sighed and mentally facepalmed himself since he couldn't do it in reality with him behind the wheel. "Tomorrow when she's sick I'm blaming you Scar." "An while you do that I'll make her another drink", Scarlett grinned. I loved that woman. We annoyed Sebastian for a while until we both couldn't keep our eyes open and fell asleep.
